In my opinion (sorry for the back seat driving), he should have pushed the low hp dd and taken the cap after the cruser kill.

Nice game 🙂When you see a submarine at periscope deep, you can shoot a him with HE, you will do some aditional damage.

Thanks for that tip. Having watched the video myself, all I see are my mistakes now! But, that's being a new player, of course. :)

One thing of note,. Heavy HE INCREASES your detection. Even if you take Concealment, you will get a plus 5% to your detection range. I find it best on ships with small caliber HE shells, like USS Atlanta.

Overall, you made some mistakes but played well. You are definitely on the way to removing those mistakes from your playbook. On thing I am noticing however, is that you do not switch shells very fast. It could be just this battle. For example, when the Galicia turned to give you broadside, you still had HE loaded, and allowed him to deal some significant damage to you. And at the end you had HE loaded for the broadside carrier and AP for the broadside Derfflinger. While at higher tiers shooting cruiser AP at broadside BB's can work, at this tier you don't have high enough caliber guns to do any significant damage to them at the kind of ranges you were firing at. Other than that, you played well. Good Game!

You're spot on with that comment about shell switching, both in general and with particular regard to the destruction of the Galicia. I was too slow to switch there and, just like later in the game when I failed to switch my AA and secondaries back on as I approached the carrier, I am making the kind of mistakes I think are common amongst newer players. A little bit of experience will sort that out, I hope! Thank you for your kind and helpful comments.

You were never spotted by aircraft the entire game. Also, you have hydro. Use it.

I'll review the game and see if there was an opportunity to use the hydroacoustic search. I don't remember one, but then I was firing AP at the Derfflinger at the end without realising that too! Thanks for watching.

Nice video, i very nearly clicked off during your music intro, just was doing something else at same time hence got to where you were talking, so then stayed, so I think you'll get way more views if you cut that music to max 3 sec intro (& have some footage as well) or even lose the into altogether, I know it sucks if you sent a lot of timr on creating it, but try one w/o and see if the views jump.
