not only did you make it to a jingles video. it's also NOT a game of throws video! i think that's about all anyone could hope to achieve playing world of warships. that's game completed. 100% challange done. nothing higher to gain at this point.

this could of been a game of throws, if that carrier was going south east instead of north east he wouldn't of been found and would of gotten a solo warrior (i think that is be the last member on your team alive and win against 5 or more, might of got the number wrong.....)

Jingles couldn't actually see the ship when he said it and nobody assumed that the Yoshino would have turned around behind the island

But can we appreciate how the Protagonist and the Vermont took 9 ships down tho? Like yes, they avoided the cap, but they got down to business. A Devastating Strike team of sorts. Also, Vermont's AA chewed on a whole bunch of T8 Planes. Beautiful.

Ruggiero = Roger, try something like "Roodjero". For de Lauria it is close enough, try to pronunce the first two vocals distinctly, and stress the initial part not the last. Hey, YOU asked for i... wait, what's that click?

I just love it when you casually hear Akizuki chirping in the background. Some youtubers will re-record stuff if their pets start playing up whilst they're recording. But not Jingles! and I love it.

I think the bow of his ship clipped off the torpedo's motor - nice of him to disable it so it couldn't hit a teammate behind him XD

I'm half and half between this and incomparable. But the more videos I see, the more lauria is looking like the one to go for, but at the same time giant guns do make a compelling argument.

The Ruggiero seems very, very handy on the helm; some of these fast battlecruisers have an enormous turning radius. This one seems like it responds quick and sweet to your rudder. There was a certain amount of luck involved in that torpedo dodge but he still got his bow over FAST when he started turning.

Was watching this out loud in class with my students around... Jingles: "Oh Shit!"

Arms race and normal battles should have separate damage record categories.

The cool thing about that damage record is that it was made with a good team, working together, and winning, instead of one player being forced to take all the risks and do all the work, which usually results in a loss, but a very high damage total for the one committed player.

note how the Vermont later kept ordering the Mino to go and cap A as well, then failed to finish capping B and had to reverse back in. That team honestly would have deserved to lose.

17:30 I didn't know it was even possible for a USS Vermont (the doom turtle of WoWS) to sail through a cap WITHOUT taking it.

I was thinking for a while "since when is 19km main battery range bad?" - then I remembered I was a torpedoboat player who intentionally keeps the main battery range down to make it easier to break detection. Even then though for a battleship it doesn't feel that bad for me, I mean it can reach across half the map just fine. And he even has some kind of skill that increases his range when he gets kills! On top of the spotter plane.

Mino player was awesome!

Tbh, Arms race records should be counted separately from classics battles...

Yaknow, I know this talk of armor and overmatch and all that makes good copy and all that, but I feel like it's in the fuzz. What really matters is whether the shells land on the target. When you look at most salvos where Jingles says "That's disappointing" or something, you see this: the shells didn't fail to penetrate or fail to citadel -- either through bad luck, bad aim or good dodging, they failed to hit at all. The thing with SAP is your aiming point: You're aiming just above the belt rather than the waterline, so more shells hit the ship rather than the water in front of it. Armor *can* make a difference, but the effect is insignificant compared to the effects of aim and dodging.

At 16:27 that was his S key, he backed out. I do understand why...

This may be a hot take but I think the damage records should come only from standard battle. It's known that Arms Race battles have more HP running around and so you can farm much higher damage than should be possible. So I think if you have a monster game in a battle where everyone's HP is what they got and there's no artificial inflation then that should be the damage record. Of course I understand that damage records will only ever be so high because there's only so much HP to every ship but I still think it's a more fair system rather than people trying to get an Arms Race where they were able to farm a bunch of regenerating battleships

@@Trapper50cal it has two slashes, but the ship itself is described as a Battlecruiser, such as a Kongo or Hood or Renown. These are not battleships, they are battlecruisers. High speed is not uncommon for them
