I can genuinely say 50% of the reason I play the game is because Robin shows me how easy it is to play literally any ship and it makes it that much more enjoyable.

Robin your pronunciation of "de Ruyter" is quite good, no worries! The Dutch voice over is quite nice and funny for a native speaker at times. It feels really literally translated at some points, but then again those are also the Dutch terms and nowadays we're just so used to hearing the English naval terms. I'm not sure, but I think the Dutch navy also uses a lot of English rather than Dutch because many of their current operations are joined with other nations. I really like the term used for destroyers: Torpedobootjager, which to English speakers probably sounds like a ship doing torpedo beats on Jäger meister, haha. But yeah it means kind of torpedo boat hunter, not necessarily to hunt torpedo boats (these speedboat kind of raiders), but more being a torpedo boat itself as well as being a hunter of ships. In any case, thanks for showcasing this ship, I'm really looking forward for the Dutch cruisers to be introduced!

@Morahman7vnNo2 Ah ok, yes then it makes total sense if that was also the English term. I think Dutch sounds a bit softer, or in any case German sounds harsher to us. Then again we do have the choking-like "G"-sounds especially North of the main rivers and in the West of the country. The accent is somewhat similar to old Dutch tv or radio presenters, with really clear pronunciation of words that is not often used in common communication, but for radio traffic and in game messages it makes sense to use this accent. You don't want to be like: what did he say?

As a Dutch viewer, I really enjoyed seeing this ship in action. I can't wait for these beauties to be released in-game:D

I just noted. It's never afternoon in Robin's world. :D

I wouldn't go for a career in Dutch, but that was better spoken than most CC's out there! Perhaps Trenlass comes rather close to it, but that's because German and Dutch are fondly related to each other. Just another great *Kraken* game from the master himself!!

3:05 "'Beman de stations' ...I'm sorry, I'm butchering the Dutch voice-over' No, that was actually very good! Only the 'uy' in 'De Ruyter' is not exactly like natives pronounce it, though it's still a lot closer than any other non-Dutch I've ever heard trying to pronounce an 'ui' sound (ui, uy and uij all sound the same, but only the ui spelling is used in words today and the others are only used in last names these days). It's only that you're pronouncing the uy slightly with an 'a' instead of a 'u' (but don't overdo the 'u' sound or it'll sound like 'oe' or 'üi') 15:18 yeah, those lines and voice acting are good :D

Nice game. Maybe it's because Robin was at the helm this time, but I get the feeling the De Ruyter is a Tier 4.5 ship...

I think the De Ruyter has similar muzzle velocity to the Königsberg like you compared it to, but the German guns have quite a bit higher air drag making it a alot floatier closer to max range.

Lambs to the slaughter. Great game I only got 4 kills first time out with this epic little ship.

It's pretty fun, but also a big cruiser when you compare it to other Tier IV. Battleships love to full pen you!

Very impressive game! Low tiers can be very hard - not much armour/hp unpredictable teammates and enemies.

Nice to finally see a really existing ship in this game, too bad it is just a toy in a tier which is skipped by most people and is a mix of seals and their clubbers... And too bad that even at this tier the fun police is quite able to take the fun away.
