Hey Robin, thanks for the video, it's a great honor to be featured on your channel! As you and someone else have pointed out in the comments, the use of my smoke screens in this battle was certainly a bit questionable. It always takes a bit of getting used to the Short-Burst Smoke Generator when you haven't played British DDs in a while. Also, I can imagine that some viewers don't understand why I played so cautiously at the beginning: It was my first time in Druid on Haven and those wide open caps are pretty awkward to play as Druid, given her sub-par concealment and the lack of island cover. Before I contested the Bravo cap, I first wanted to be sure I wouldn't run into Stalin radar, possibly paired with another radar by Ragnar or perma-hydro by Vampire II or Siliwangi. That's just to explain some of my actions. Cheers!

I do not play world of warships, but I see 1): the quality and pride you take in the videos and editing, 2): a bunch of information that explains how the ship is set up, 3): what the ship is good at and bad at. I wont play a DD that does not have torpedo's. Just seems silly to me.

I feel like the druid seems like a high skill flaw ship, I'd have to guess that the anti submarine weapons are exceedingly powerful, otherwise it doesn't seem like a very beneficial ship to play, especially considering the other teir X ships and super ships advantages over the druid

I have both and play Druid way more. With the short duration smokes it's easier to hunt and repeat as shown in this video.

Implacable needs survivability buff.

Tried this ship, terrible. It's only trick is it has somewhat fast firing guns, that's it really. Other DDs fire just as fast or faster and can still use HE, Torpedoes and have more than two guns that don't get destroyed immediately. Just go with the Vampire II or stick with the Daring. It's a very situational ship.

You forgot to mention Groningen as a gun boat, just saying :} Great content btw keep it up...

I want to like my Druide, but I feel like she was outright powercrept with the inclusion of the Forrest Sherman.

While that dpm is great, I feel like relatively speaking, Druid is just a gimped Daring who traded all the utility for only an improvement in the AP department.

It doesn't play the same role as daring, and the one it does fulfill, it's incredibly good at. You win every single 1 v 1 against dds. They cannot out dpm you with only rear turrets so they swing out their broadsides, and that's when druid upgrades from good to lethal. Your slim profile and heal make their shots affect you less than the bulletstorm you fire at them and you will, with a bit of practice, win literally every engagement. The rest of the game is mopping up other destroyers and using your smokes to disengage or farm at your leisure. Daring is more defensive generalist and that's certainly appreciable. They just fulfill different roles despite toolkit similarities.

@@Crappyfocus That's my point. Vampire just trades away too much for killing DDs (which Daring is already very good at), at the cost of everything else. Plus im not a fan of AP only, because of both how DDs can angle towards it while gunning/escaping (it works even against Mino, which is saying a lot), and because you have very little ability to pressure heavier ships when you can't HE farm or torp them. It's just too much of a one-trick pony, where that one trick can be played around to neuter it.

I love Jingles videos, but no offence to him, you add a professionalism that he lacks, which does add to his charm, along with his awesome Naval history knowledge, but yeah, its refreshing. Keep it up buddy.
