Even before the Nassau was spotten, you notice the throw of the Hosho: he sends the dive-bombers to the enemy cap instead of looking for the Nassau...

Putting aside how terrible the green CV played the actual throw was the Dreadnought leaving the red cap to chase the CV. It didn't have to as the Cv was close and even closing with it. The Dreadnought should have just stayed in the cap and shot the CV. Had that person stayed in the cap Flambass's team would have capped out before the Nassau could. So the real throw was by the Dreadnought even though the green Cv may be the worst player I have ever seen.

@@admiralthunder444 Naw they are new players, the Dreadnought laving cap was just not paying attention. The Hosho actively did nothing about the ship HE KNEW WAS THERE. The battleship was just standard BB tunnel vision, but the Hosho was braindead... I mean he missed with rockets. Not one rocket hit I didn't even know that was possibly against slow BB.

Noobs are noobs. Can't excuse the Dreadnought for being a noob (was he though?) as we don't know their experience. That is a Premium ship that an experienced player could have (was an event reward). Remember now, Flambass was in a T3 himself and he is no noob. So it is unfair to excuse the Dreadnough for being a noob but blame the green CV for the loss who played far more like a noob than the Dreadnought player. If you excuse the Dreadnought for being a noob then you have to excuse the CV for the same reason. Simple fact is, removing skill/experience from the equation, the Dreadnought leaving the red cap when they did not need to cost the game not the horrible play by the green CV. Yes, if the green CV had gone for the Nassau vs flying to the other side of the map maybe it plays out different. But, even so, if the Dreadnought had stayed in the red cap it's a win even if things at the green cap play out exactly the same and the green CV couldn't kill the Nassau. From what I saw even if the green CV went for the Nassau earlier it probably would have failed. And if the Dreadnought player is a noob I hope they learn to pay attention to things other than what is right in front of them. Turn right and stay in cap and they could have still clapped the red CV. By staying in the cap once the Nassau kills the green CV Dreadnought has the lead on capping. So again, the game was thrown by the Dreadnought leaving the cap not the poor green CV play. As I recall Flambass commented on him leaving the cap when I saw the game on his stream. He saw that was a big mistake. Not excusing the horrible play by the green CV. Just pointing out the Dreadnought actually threw it away not the CV.

GorxxDF in the Gangut here: you can't see it in the video. I was entering the final fight in our cap with 3/4 of my health. The Dreadnought was on full health but ignored me first. I managed to kill the dd one by one. The French cruise on the other hand dodge 3 or 4 of my salvos. It was 🤮. When I was killing the last DD I gave my broadside to the dreadnought (it was this or the torps) and he obliderated my health. After being killed, we discussed in team chat the tactic that the Nassau should go back try to cap. Even with his low health. Our luck was that the dreadnought drove out of our cap. Our Nassau did a great job in this game to not get reseted. I was sweating bullets. Sooo final line. First time after all this year's to get featured by the old grumpy rear admiral and I didn't sucked. Better I did pretty well. And I played against Flambas. Yeah🎉

Indeed. Can't aim the planes to save his life, can't find the enemy, and is HUGGING the map border with the launch end point OUT of the map. That last part is what annoys me the most with lower-mid tier CV players. Like DUDE, YOUR SHIP IS THE PLANES SPAWN POINT! No one seems to think about that till they get over the "hide in cornor" phase of being a CV noob.

@@jaywerner8415 As of today 383 games played (nothing above tier 6), win rate 46.7% and 8 battles in CVs. So basically he hasn't a clue and it is rather a pity Jingles didn't do this basic research before publicly shaming him. In one battle he sank 10 ships so I guess he wishes that video got shown.

@@cricketerfrench7501 Jingles pointed out multiple times that it was low tier and probably newer players. He just pointed out that it was sad they missed every shot. He was right. Just needed one hit... that's it. If you can't handle that extremely low level of a complaint, you can't handle anything.

There is something off about a game where that kind time is considered not enough to have "a clue."

To repeatedly make the same mistake that many times, they'd have to be a very, very young child. So young that they probably shouldn't be playing WOWS in the first place, but who cares about parenting these days?

Once that Nassau got to 651 HP, he became someone elses problem. The Houshou left it to someone else.

It’s as if the voice of a million Flambass fans cried out at one time and then went silent…

The ships in the early tiers were mostly build when aircraft didn't really pose a major threat. The HMS Dreadnought was in service in 1906 only 3 years after the first flight.

Even though this is low-tier I still facepalmed so hard. What a SPESHUUUUL Finale! XD

The air must have been Royal Blue in Flambass' studio!

This wasn't just any ordinary throw. This game was fucking yeeted straight into deep space.

This is the first time I've thought of "seal clubbing" as marine mammals dancing to techno music.

I believe Flambass is going through his stats and playing a game to try and beat his best then move onto the next ship, more for something different to do for his twitch etc

Exactly. I was hoping to catch him playing ships like Okhotnik where he's feast or famine, Clemson, which he used to love, and Omaha, which he swore he hated, but the one time I watched him with it, he did really well...until he detonated.

2am, rough day...or I guess yesterday of work...? But Jingles will always turn it around

Looks to me as though the CV player is very new to playing CV. He hadn't got the hang of how far out you need to start a torpedo attack run. He kept trying to start the attack when he was far too close, overshooting, trying to turn round whilst in attack mode, running out of time, being on cooldown, then mistiming it again and repeating the cycle.

Looking forward to watchin’ this one Jingles!

I always kid (while being quite serious ) that the AA on the Cossack is 2 drunk Brits on deck firing Webley revolvers at planes.

Like an ultra-slow-motion train wreck. Just watched Flambass’s version of the video. The ~3 minute long silent lament at the end of the game in front of the webcam was worth the price of admission alone.

Low tier is so much more fun when you know what you are doing. I recently picked up a Mikasa, and tier 3 battles are HILARIOUS now.

I know the pain of having no AA at low tier. My favorite tier IV, the Arkansas, has 0 AA batteries.

I find it ironic that the Myogi gets little to no AA on the first 2 hulls, then gets the best T4 BB AA on the third hull

The Hosho player must be extremely new because they don't seem to have grasped even the basic concept of leading your shots.

Did anyone else notice the AP shell from the Nassau just passing through that Langley at 9:49? I love the fact that the section between flightdeck and hangar is actually no hitbox...

Some people here judge a tier IV game as if they never had to go through the learning phase of the game themselves. Like they were born under a lucky star, genetically pre-loaded with max skill and boosted premium account brought to them personally by the Wargaming devs straight in the neonatal ward. On each and every one of those I can only wish to eat a citadel hit.

I 'like' the video before hitting the play key, WE are so very lucky to have the good Admiral to keep up moral, LOL Thanks Sir.

The Langley has large open spaces between the deck and the hull and often shells will go right through without hitting anything.

Nah. He was looking for something to do other than play the same ships over and over again at higher tiers. He started playing all his ships where he had poor scores. He's been playing since beta, and yet he recently played a ship that he had only played 2-3 times.

That was my thought, too, but as you watch you'll notice that as the bombers drop torpedoes they exit the formation. So, without going back and watching again, I suggest that the plane wasn't shot down, merely lost interest after wasting its torp.

@@boobah5643 The plane I'm looking at was circling over the carrier and impacts the water to the left of the carrier at 10:30. Think it might have been from a flight of fighters, so absolutely harmless to the Nassau...

I think the Valkyrie didn't smoke up against the Nassau because he had used up all of his smokescreens.

Well to be accurate: The Hosho didn't "find" the Nassau as much as completely ignored him for a few minutes straight to fly her slow-ass divebombers across the whole map for one inconsequential drop there. Nassau was basically spotted the entire time as soon as she entered the cap^^

Flambass was probably jumping out of his chair, I hope he has this on his channel! 😆

Imagine being the Dreadnaught player seeing what was happening and not being able to do anything about it.

Flambass isn't playing at Tier 3 for Research Bureau, since he's using a premium. But he *is* down there to do "research".

Paul I need to correct you. Flambass is at the moment, trying to get all of the ships he owns to be above the 50% mark stats, that means to play the ships that under those stats to a 50% plus mark.

Actually Jingles, he is not doing those ships for fun and jiggles, he is doing them to improve the stats of his lowest performing ships to above average.
