I got Albrecht Schneider from the event. First I did not understand why this pilot has the skill for better protection equipment. Then I gave it a try and did install engine armor protection. This works surprisingly well during boom & zoom when some fast-accelerating Spitfire gets some shots into me. Then those few shots do not cripple the engine and result in a plane loss. It also helps if I catch a few bulltets from rear gunners to not end as a "sitting duck" for everyone nearby. - In other words: flying into so-called furballs is not so dangerous with the protection equipment and this pilot. - One may argue, that a full speed build results in just getting no hits at all, because of getting out faster, but in WoWP where there is so much action everywhere then there is often at least someone shooting at me. - A maneauverability build instead helps for easier aiming at targets. So if the Me 410 attacks one single aircraft and can destroy it (because hitting the enemy is easier), there are no shots in return as well. - But overall in furballs of WoWP I really like the survivability build with Albrecht Schneider, because it keeps me alive more often.

Those are good points. Certainly Albrecht Schneider's mastery skill including the "protection expert" characteristics is good news for people who like "resilience" builds. You've found that it works when you're facing a cluster of enemies, whereas I'd have to pick one, shoot it and run.

I bought them all, but I have to agree, that Albrecht Schneider ist the one to go for first. Cadman Miller just can't compensate for the behavior of this fat and stolid bomber. Besides, the increase in bombs damage is more in line with a German bomber, that can drop single bombs. The B-17G drops two carpets anyway. Unfortunately, I sold the La-5 the other day, because I put the pilot on another plane anyway. But I'm getting the La-5 again, because I actually found it quite good. But only after it was "special". Before that, it was a bit difficult.

Well, if you got on with the La-5, the pilot will definitely improve it. I ought to go out in it a bit myself. It's been a while.

Cadman miller is taking up Firefighting Skill ?and it’s 2 points? 😮? With out giving you any firefighter ability? I use ultimate Engine upgrade on my b-17 to compensate for my bomb reload . 😮 🤔huh I don’t know if I can use him

The 'B-17G Master' skill occupies the 'Fire Resistance' slot without including the latter skill's characteristics - apparently - and consumes two skill points, so that's not a great place for it, I would agree.
