I don't know why Arthas even left some of his forces behind in quelthalas anyways, instead of using his entire force VS Dalaran or maybe they were attracted to the path later I don't know. But currently in the game story the surge has been defeated for a long long time and the last lich king was actually a good guy controlling the scourge to prevent them from going on a rampage with their leader(Arthas) dead. Recently Sylvanas actually tore the lich kings helm apart which means the scourge is now 100% over. However there are STILL zombies in the middle of quelthalas attacking people and there are crazed mana junkies too, even though sunwell has been restored and blood elves should no longer suffer from magic regression. They have to update quelthalas

This cinematic was so trash! The whole lore of the lich King (favorite character of many players) just destroyed in 5 min. Next expansion completly trash lore we were all hoping for undead armies but no we get some construct monsters, fairys and vampires in the next expansion. No new class. What a trash. I alrdy told evrybody here 1 year ago after BFA cinematic that the expansion will be trash. And it was and is biggest trash ever. Here I tell again evrybody that shadowlands will be trash!

@@StainderFin this is not "story telling" In Warcraft 3 we had a lot of lore , but everything was cooler, we didn't need a superhero to love the game . We had plenty of people on each side with their good reason to do what they do But this reminds me of GoT season 8 Daenerys. That is not story telling is just selling plots

How i remember is it took me a full raid roster of 40 that marched to undercity to bring down Sylvanas for the achievement. So there was really no question about the victor here. And it is bolvie boi and not Menethil :')

@Khaye Ayubann exactly. we even visit the the forge where the helm and frostmourne were made this addon, and make our own legys there. they even called it the "forge of domination" lmaoooo, 10 bucks say we reforge the helmet there to close the rift btween shadowlands and azeroth
