The Wickerman on Silvermyst isle was part of the Draeni shaman quest to get the fire totem. You would be tasked by a elemental to set it on fire to lure out another fireelemental that has gone rogue and collect its ashes. The rogue elemental had made the owlkin worship it as some kind of diety and made them build the wickerman.

Just speculation but Logan Daniels at Odesyus' Landing could be a reference to Wolverine from Marvel Comics. His name was Logan and he was quite short. Also Daniels seems to have fairly similar hair to Wolverine? (sideburns?)

The guy Logan Daniel is a reference to Wolverine from marvel. Look at his hair first of all, and he's shorter than average humans, as is wolverine. He ALSO literally has wolverine's name, as in the comics and movies he is known as Logan by most people. His REALLY real for real name is James Howlett, but he went by Logan for a long time before that was revealed. I'm kind of surprised you didn't put this together yourself. haha. I also love the Pink Floyd references. I would like to see a videos about Stormwind, the Undercity, and Orgrimarr. There has to be enough to make a video for them. So much lore! The funny part is I don't even play wow anymore, but these videos are truly enjoyable. So thank you.

Quote what I said on Reddit: "Fun Fact: Azuremyst Isle and Bloodmyst were originally Pandaria, as it was said in the lore at that time that Pandaria was thought to be west of Teldrassil. The plan for BC was to give the Alliance the Pandaren, and those islands were initially Pandaria. Apparently, though, Blizzard at that time decided eventually this was a bad idea, that Pandas didn't fit and that the player base would react horribly. They were now stuck with no race, and that is how the "Draenei Lore Ass-Pull" happened. This is why no one knew what the Alliance race was until nearly launch, because Blizzard was redoing the entire Alliance race / quests / everything for BC. They dreamt up the crash landing scenario, retro-fitted Pandaria to reflect such an event and removed all the traces of Pandaren. That's why the islands and everything to do with the scenario doesn't make a whole ton of sense, because it was all last minute. They admitted to all this at a Blizzcon a few years ago. I think it was the Legion announcement one. If you don't believe me, there's video footage out there and they even showed what the BC Pandaren male model looked like (it was done, just not female), and yes, it's God awful."

Actually, as far as i can recall there is one quest connected with the Owlbears in Am`menvale. You needed to collect the lying crystal contraptions there. Though it is a while ago since i played a Draenei, so if it was removed, i don`t know about it.

Do you realize that with the introduction of the exile's reach starting area, these whole starting zones will now be giant easter eggs that new players may never see???!!! And while ER is not bad as an introduction to new players... these zones are SO MUCH BETTER in comparison, with all the lore they pack and details!

Well at least people still have a chance to play all the start locations in the revived classic servers or on the private servers. As a primarily private server player i do get to enjoy these starting zones with every character and i even slow down my xp gain to fully enjoy the zones (some private servers have multiple XP rates to choose from). I play on private servers because i prefer the old wow more and because i dont want to support Blizz in any way financially with all the predatory corporate decisions they have done in later years. They are dead to me...

So you could only choose your race starting zone if u had already played through it on your 1st toon on a new account. But even then, ER is always the 1st option and new people may not understand or realize, and just go with what they know.

Azurmyst is good, but Bloodmyst is the zone I still go back to visit to this day. It's just so corrupted and hostile compared to everything else on Azeroth at the time. The ambience and music really add to the isolated feeling of being so far away form anywhere normal. Would you consider doing a vidoe on Bloodmyst?

Sadly, the game became catered toward the casual audience mainly starting with Cata so they removed all of the more "complicated" quest lines, but which were very cool class specific quests. As such, you can only experience these in the classic servers or on private servers nowadays. In my opinion, the shaman and druid class quests were the best in WOW, but some of the other classes were cool too. Every 10 levels you would receive a class quest which had you do some interesting things all over the world. Now people just get all their spells from trainers and a big part of the RP in this RPG was lost due to making the game more casual friendly. This is why i stopped playing in Cata and never went back to "new WOW". I still play old WOW on private servers where everything is nice and neat just like in the old days.

I’m wondering if Logan Daniel is a nod at Wolverine Logan from the X-men. It’s a stretch, perhaps, but Logan was notoriously shorter than your average human at about 5 ft tall. It was actually controversial when Hugh Jackman was cast for the role being as tall as he is. There were scenes where James Marsden who played Cyclops had to stand on a step stool or smth like that so he could appear taller than Jackman.
