This was so great to have Ali Riley on right before the WWC! She's such a good player and must be a fantastic leader and person because she seems to get picked as captain wherever she goes. And now I get to see that she's an adorable, magnetic presence "in person," too. Thanks for another great interview!

This reminds me that I wish clubs and countries would also take team photos with the players other pro team jersey on. So at club they have the club team and each players national team jersey, but if they haven't been caped on their national team then where the captains jersey to make a statement that they want to get there. Then at camps with national teams that the players take the usual photos and bring all their professional club/college jersey for another photo. It shows the diversity and inclusivity of how far soccer/football has come... for women. Its my favourite kind of photos. I hope it becomes a staple of each season.

The US needs to prove to itself that they can score. Vietnam has shown a surprisingly good defense, but USA will need to put up a large score differential to convince themselves that they're good enough

Love Ali Riley but yeah, more New Zealand players should come to the NWSL I mean, Australia did it. Before all the players move to England/Europe right now, almost all of the Brazilian national team players play for the NWSL. Like New Zealand players will kill it here, especially if it would help with all of these expansion teams coming in more players are needed just saying.

Ali Riley, you're beautiful, lovely and adorable !!! 👈🌹 With leader like you helping the team, I hope the Fern ladies will do great and go far in this world cup. Ali, have you ever considered becoming a soccer coach? You may be great for another world cup with New Zealand if everything comes in possible! But I think loving the game and care so much for the next generation in NZ as much as you are, you should definitely become a coach, ultimately for New Zealand future soccer. You would surely fit right in if you want too. Best wishes with your career in Angles city and other future endeavors!!!👍💖🗽

It's nice of you to big up NZ, but NZ is a terrible team and will be thrashed in this tournament. I actually think its sad that they will be in the spotlight as a host considering how poor they are as a team.
