I truly believe there’s a demand for this type of channel. I think if you did long term reviews with power tools your audience would grow exponentially.

I will say that I I use The vice grips and I replaced them about every 2 years. That was in an industrial setting. The handles on them often slip off of had to reattach them about every 6 months.

I've never liked them I have the 12 model and have the same issues I was lucky to get 2 months out of them

The work pros got bent from me using them the wrong way. I grabbed onto a valve and turned them sideways. I never got a chance to use the iriwins in the same manner

I understand how you bent them . I like to open 55 gal drums of oil with my 180 knipex cobra pliers and that is probably not recommended but works great

If you are looking to spend some good money veto pro packs are amazing from what I hear. Avoid all klien tool bags they are horribly made and expensive for what they are.

I really don't like the vice-grip. They are cheaply made. They need to work on there heat treatment and steel. For about the same money you can get the channel locks GL10's In my opinion they are way better.

I agree and that's why between the iriwins and the work pros I recommend the work pro because of the huge price difference

Once those teeth are smoke like that you might as well just throw it out.. that's why Knipex for a few dollars more is fat better.

Why would any manufacturer send their items to you to review? Don't take this personally but between the Bud and the F-words it hardly enhances a company's image does it?

They are equal to irwin in my opinion as far as jaw strength but fo fall short in some categories but then again what can we expect for $8 🙂
