That peat ground is hard to break sods up in. Especially as dry as it’s been. It’s coming along good though by the look of it. I hope it grows you a good crop.

We are wet here in west central Minnesota also. We got 2/3 of our corn planted about 2 weeks ago & have been shut down since due to rain. It rained last night again so It will be several days before we get in the field again. I hope you guys get some rain there. Good luck with planting.

Dry here. Started discing today on the swath grazing from last fall. Pick up fertilizer tomorrow and we’ll see about getting some peas in the ground. That 7/10s we got last week seems to have disappeared already.

Looks like pretty decent dirt. Should grow a good crop if you get the moisture. Haven’t started here yet. Been raining on and off the last week. Just gets dry then another sprinkle comes through. Nothing like down south. We’re dry enough the fields are soaking up the moisture yet though. Just makes a awful mess of the yard.

I absolutely love heavy harrowing , me and my boss always try to harrow together he will have his 100footer and I'll be on the 70 foot and its just beautiful fields after we're done, and I did some pro tilling this spring now on some manure ground and prayed for rain, now as of may 7th which is today we're getting peob over an inch in the next few days

Man I’m 5 miles south of town from Hp and I’ve had 3/4 inch of rain all spring, with how last year was if it stays dry this summer I’ll have to sell the cows with the price of them unfortunately.

Nice job done there. But after a grass crop, I think oats or wheat would go better. My experience with barley after grass crop aint good.
