Working as a Rehabilitation Assistant and Advice for Applying/Interviews
In this video, I talk to Ai about what it’s like to work as a rehabilitation assistant. We both speak from our experience which may vary depending on where you work. The role we had was rotational, so we ‘rotated’ and worked within different teams.
*SLT: we forgot to mention that we also helped patients with aphasia. This often involved facilitating the use of apps that help a person pronounce words, recognise words, or recognise which word matches an image of that word.
*Physio: we often used a piece of equipment called therabike. I can’t believe we forgot about this!
