Ideas for improving your Clinical Psychology Doctorate application DClinPsy

In this video, I chat with Jennifer who got onto the doctorate this year on her 3rd attempt. She shares some insights into what extra experiences might be helpful to gain and what she thinks made the difference.
There are already some great videos out there and of course, there's no real magic to it but I hope these ideas are helpful. Good luck with your application!

Hi, loved this video, very useful information! I was wondering where you found the counselling skills training as this is something I would like to look into? Thanks

Hi! The course I did is called TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills. I simply looked at adult courses at my local college. It was all online, so I imagine you can sign up to one even if it's far away. The duration was 12 weeks. I think there are various Level 2 counselling skills courses out there. Some are in person and take longer and I'm not sure if those would also be free. I hope that helps!
