Regarding what else to do with friends: Walks are always great. I invite people round to mine to eat. And we often just have easy things like bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar, houmous, guac, olives, antipasti, etc. We also did a making sushi evening at one of my friends. Some of the sushi looked like a mess but it tasted good. Much better than eating at a restaurant 😊

Oh and we also do "craft evenings" or afternoons. In theory it's to make crafts like crochet. In practice we usually just sit and chat

Honestly I air dry almost everything except for things like underwear, socks, towels, sheets. It saves energy and money and the hassle of trying to figure out if you can put it in the dryer 😂 sometimes I'll throw something in for like 5-10mins to get the wrinkles out and then air dry it (except for wool. NEVER put wool in the dryer)

It’s awesome that the company culture is much better at your new job. I always use a heat protectant before blow drying- either in the cream or spray kind. I feel like cream works better but the spray is nice because then it doesn’t get all over your hands.

@@KeeganActon Currently i'm using the brand Advanced Clinicials 10 in 1 frizz control blow dry heat protectant. When I just get the sprays then I normally will get either Pantene or Aussie.

I love the friends and people in your life who recharge you, and those who make you feel seen. It's priceless! Also - as an alternative to eating out, have you tried paint and sip at home, if that's your jam? You can either get one of those paint-by-number kits, or grab blank canvases, some paints, and throw on Bob Ross! 🍷

Awesome vlog, Keegan! Congrats on your new job & being new homeowner! I watched your previous weekly vlog before watching this one! You truly made a comeback & I'm very proud of you! As for me, last weekend my nephew Noah proposed to Victoria, his girlfriend of 4 years & she said yes! We had a little celebration at his parents place in honor of their engagement! Wedding will be held next year, my guessing in the summer! 😊❤

Another nice activity is board or card games - there are lots of different ones :) Also ones were you could be making a drinking game out of it... Very fun. I'm unsure how much these game nights are a thing in the US. Here in Bavaria we occasionally have it and I love it!

I just got new tracks on my drawers and they’re hard to pull out but I was told they should loosen up!

As someone who just got a townhouse too! Take advantage of the fact you have an overlap! Decorate, paint, change light fixtures if you want. Move in slowly! But you should just get a vanity you like off Wayfair or something!!! They aren’t $$ and it’s extremely easy to install! I think you would be much much happier!! But with your followers, I swear you could get a sponsorship with some brands to help you!!!

I air dry anything I think may shrink, but to make it even easier... any of my nicer pieces, linen, nice tops, etc. I air dry, because I find it keeps them looking nicer longer. Blow drying - I'd use a heat protectant of some sort, maybe one that mentions "sleek" or "straight" i find those tend to keep my hair a bit neater!

either the dae styling cream or the samnyte hair wax stick :) (also sometimes clear eye brow gel haha)

I air dry all of my clothes! I use clothes racks to hang them in the house and I'm lucky enough to have a clothesline in the summer but I only throw towels/sheets/socks/underwear in the dryer. Helps preserve the integrity of my clothes and saves on energy!

I air dry most of my clothes as well. Mainly my tops ans sweaters.Because those are the things I spend the most money on and I truly feel that they last so much longer because I don't put them in the dryer.My pants and jeans typically I do not air dry them.I will throw them in the dryer. I've never had a issue with clothes wrinkling, but it may all depend on the type of material that you're talking about. But if you have that issue, you could always buy a clothes steamer to get the wrinkles out. I used to have one of those because I used to travel a lot for work and sometimes my clothes would be wrinkly from the suitcase so I would travel with it and use that instead of an iron..

They have wow speed dry spray, I would try that. The wow dreamcoat spray is also amazing to put on before drying your hair it leaves it so silky and also has a heat protectant in it

Okay ideas that me and my friends do when we want to hang out for a couple hours that is free or pretty cheap: grab coffee and take it to go and then go on a really long walk together OR just go on a walk, no coffee required. Sometimes we also grab coffee and take it to a park and just sit on the benches or on a picnic blanket together and catch up. We also will often will go to the beach and sit on a blanket and read our books together on the beach.

Hey Keegan, I don't know if the whole washer/dryer thing is still an issue but how about moving the fridge to the left and the washer and dryer to the right side of the fridge. So basically where the fridge is now. On the right side of the fridge is the sink and you can connect a washer to the sink easily (at least in Germany ;D). By that the drain would not be an issue anymore.

I agree don’t share to much on social media!! Also this is off topic but I don’t think you ever told us about the situation you saw with your friend a while back and you couldn’t tell us then lol

Eyelash serum made me have really baggy under eyes and I had no idea what the cause was because I was sleeping 8hrs a night. I stopped using eyelash serum to see if that’s what was causing it and my eyebags got less pronounced so that’s great 👍 I will miss my long eyelashes

Easy to make hard boiled eggs for the week on a day off like Sunday. A steamer is pretty foolproof, imo. No paprika added😂

I use the Typology lash serum for my brows and lashes and it's been so amazing so far! Just remember, all things react differently to everyone's bodies. Also, don't share where you work because people will not only show up but also harass your employer if they find something they disagree with you on. For instance, someone didn't agree about my stance on children getting vaccinated (flu, MMR, etc.) and they went out of their way to find a 1800-number to contact my employer... I learned my lesson and my employer told me to just not share where I work online.

I bought grande lash and it made my eyes red for days like I had pink eye. There's also a lawsuit against the women that founded it. Do not reccommend. I'm using latisse that my mom had given me. It's made by doctors and you have to get it over the counter but it's alot safer!! I will say it is more expensive os its an investment.

I had to wait until I retired to start my KZread channel and, when I was still working, I had to be very careful about what I posted, even funny stuff, on Facebook. Many companies feel that, what we post on social media could be considered a reflection of where we work/who we work for. And that can result in termination of your job.
