I can relate to the job :) i am an internal auditor for a smaller credit union and i love it but being a paralegal is my passion and being a personal trainer :D LOL even if i love it and its chill and my boss is AMAZING and that makes a huge difference.

I could tell the difference and the mic allows me to hear you a little bit louder. Lol, I've been there, realizing after completing a tasks that I didn't have to do that task (referring to the salad). I love the work shots, especially when I was working remotely. When you were outside the mic did great.

the new mic is sounding crisp! I've been looking at that mic for my ZV-1 also. The Rode is just so big and it's actually starting to sag down and get in the way of the lens sometimes. Think this video just convinced me to get the ECM G1. Thanks!

Def a difference with the microphone! Quick question. I have the zv1 as well and feel like the battery dies so quick that I have to change it out about 3-4 times a day. Have you experienced the same?

The battery dies usually around 40 minutes or so in! When doing research with vlog cameras this came up a lot, definitely a “con” but the benefits outweigh the negatives for me like the autofocus and level feature, steadyshot, etc. I just keep extra batteries always charged up
