In this second episode, we head to Hierve el Agua, petrified waterfalls where you can swim in natural pools just an hour away from Oaxaca. Afterward, we continue our day in a small town, Tlacolula, which transforms into a giant market on Sundays. I also take you to one of the most colorful neighborhoods in the city, thanks to its street art, the Jalatlaco district. We then visit one of the largest markets in the city, the Central Abastos Market. Among the countless things you can buy, there is also a food corner. Lost in the midst of all these stalls is the small restaurant of Doña Vale, who gained fame following the Netflix series on street food in Oaxaca.
