Instead of break the ice, why would you not play white orchid phantom when the deck is pretty white leaning already? I feel like overload break the ice is not going to happen before it’s needed

Satoru has always done me well in Scam decks, and has been working wonders with Nightmare.

I've stifled tendrils a fair bit in Timeless so not sure what that first comment was about. But that was with real stifle. Some said "they'll just past in flames the grapeshot" like, if they have mana, sure. But often they're using the last of their mana to storm off. Might be out of gas next turn.

Good storm players will just play around it once they know you have it. You might be able to steal a game or two in a league or a closed decklist tournament, but playing around one stifle effect isn't all that hard.

I think timeless is different from lack of fast mana, like ruby storm isn't a deck in timeless from no red rituals no manamorphose

The timless deck is very different. And also if they are using breach to combo off you really can’t stifle it as they usually have the mana and cards to recast.
