To be fair, people were maindecking a lot of Hogaak hate, not so much Nadu hate. I saw maindeck leyline of the void, didn't see maindeck harsh mentor.

@@r3dmanMIC That's because it's harder to hate out Nadu than it is to hate out Hogaak. Harsh Mentor isn't a good enough answer because they can just remove it or play fair.

People are freaking out because the Nadu deck got solved before the other busted synergy midrange decks. Nadu is not bannable for power level concerns. Holding a PT a week after the new set drops is just begging for something like this to happen. The reason Nadu needs to be banned is because it has long, logistically complicated and nondeterministic combo turns, basically the same reason they banned Second Sunrise

I wonder if the dampening sphere interaction with Arena of Glory if that 1 colorless mana would still activate haste since it still states, if this mana was used for a creature. What if that colerless mana counted for the hase?

Possible 1 drop hate for Nadu: flamekin harbinger and tunnel ignus. Not too bad actually.

Every card in this deck was printed in modern horizons. All but one from the most recent set. The format is rotating so fast it has become like 1500 dollar standard at this point. Sad.

Could you transform this deck into MH3 cards only including lands and side? If you would still 5-0 with it, we could just rename this "Modern" into Standard and say WotC we found a way to save Standard

In this discussion at the start of the video, I really think Deathrite Shaman is a position to be unbanned. It's a great card, but its power level seems around the same as everyone else now.

Ruby storm player must be the unluckiest storm player i have ever seen. He had 0 chance vs a player like spike who just draws whatever he needs nearly every turn

agreed a hundred percent. pixie has proven to be the better card in timeless for lurrus builds, and most jegantha builds do not have room for phelia

What a fucking disaster MH sets ended up being for the stated goals of modern. It's practically its own block constructed format at this point.
