Word Seed Birth - part 2 (The Genetics Of Jesus)

This is an addendum to the Sunday Bible Class of 11\13\22 part 1 which was taught the Wednesday before (11/9/22). Due to time constraints, one of the most important concepts of the subject was not covered in part 1. That is the concept of individuals residing in the loins of their ancestors as described in Hebrews 7:9-10: "Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak, for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him."
Amazingly, the Bible is full of Genetic information. Much of it, like this verse, was impossible to understand before we discovered and understood DNA.
This study looks at the spritual and physical (genetic) implications of numerous verses that deal with God's use of the words seed or seeds. As science digs deeper and deeper into genetics and biochemistry, the Darwinian theory of gradualism becomes impossible to defend without getting into some bizarre theories (Panspermia, Hopeful Monster, Punctuated Equilibrium, Parallel Universes, etc.).

Thank you for adding to this study. It’s fascinating and wonderful that we each have the DNA of Jesus in our very cells. I’ve been looking up “by the breath of His mouth” where He can bring life or death, as in Job and 2 Thessalonians. The things He can do are beyond comprehension.

Thanks Sunshine!!! Thanks for the wonderful tip on "Breath of His mouth". I had missed that because I read the old King James which says, "By the Spirit of His mouth". Hebrew word "ruah" translated by 17 different English words in the KJV. Spirit 232 times, wind 92 times, and breath 27 times and 14 others. How I wish I could speak Hebrew.

@@robertecarpenter I think there’s very little that you miss! 😉 I’ve been using the Bible Hub app a bit because I can scan verses and see the different translations and consider them. Have you seen the commentaries about how the Bible has changed? The lion lying down with the wolf, instead of the lamb, etc? Very strange… Please keep posting your classes. We in my Bible study group are enjoying them so much. Thank you.

@@sunshine2528 I love Bible Hub. I have probably used it 15 or so times tonight (maybe 40 or so times per week) working on tomorrow's lesson. Blue letter Bible is great. I spent a lot of money years ago on Word Search before all these good freebies were available. I am so familiar with it that it is my "go to" Bible program. Yes, all of those changes are interesting. Many of them though are not faithful to the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts. I like the translations that try to go word for word. I don't like the idea of inserting an idea or phrase for obvious words when there is a good literal translation. God is a "Word" Person. He named His Son "The Word". It does not say, "In the beginning there was the idea and the idea became flesh"! In the beginning was "The Word".

@@robertecarpenter Indeed, Jesus is The Word! Thank you- I hadn’t thought to do a word search on those “changed” words and phrases. Now I have a new mission! It has deeply troubled me when I’ve gone to my really old Bibles that belong to my grandmother and her father, and they seem changed. Please keep posting your good teachings. We enjoy them very much.
