    Cowell passed away december 17 2020, from cancer. Fantastic with Gary Bartz, Another Earth. Harold Land and Bobby Hucherson another great group.

    Hard to believe that Woody Herman Shaw had less than two years to live, from this concert, where he is in full great form and performance.

    素晴らしいお宝です。 どんな企画のライブかわかりませんが、偉大なるトランペッター ウッディ・ショウが ラフな格好で 素晴らしいソロを取り 燻し銀のスタンリー・カウエルが アップライト・ピアノにもかかわらず 1流のミュージシャンたるソロを聴かせてくれています。 また この女性のドラマーが ウッディ・ショウを煽って 徐々にソロのクライマックスを迎える姿は、マイルスとトニー・ウイリアムスを観ているようで素晴らしい作品です! ジャズの素晴らしさを味わえる逸品です。

    Woody - Gotta love it! There's an album out there called 'Setting Standards" Where Woody plays this, What's New, Spiderman blues - really great playing (different Rhythm sec though)

    Thanks... It was simple. Sit in the first row. Aim the camera (with camera mic) at the stage and try to avoid the cigar smoke from the guy sitting next to me. People who think tech was crap until digital technology are mistaken.

    Very witty Stanley Cowell solo full of quirky quotes of pop standards. Woody Shaw: how did he think so fast? Just fabulous playing. Is that a cornet?
