Woodworking project - Charging station!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This week I show you how to build a Custom charging station. It features half blind dovetails and walnut drawer fronts. The case is seamless from mitred comers and splines. Great weekend woodworking project!!

I'm watching woodworking clips all the time. But there was a short moment in that video that made me rewind it few times, to watch it again and again. I would like to thank you for "no sound part". This piano music and close look on that dark wood cuts. I could watch that whole day! Seriously, this was beautiful. Work & wood, nothing else.
Ryan she is a beauty well done brother. I love putting details like that on little projects as well it ups the wow factor.
I love the way you are happy to talk about the good bits AND the not so good bits. Makes us all feel better about our woodworking. You must have been wearing those tinted glasses, though, when you chose that blue colour for the popple!!

+Anthony James Brown lol, the wife picked the color.
Very innovative and a lot of varied skills involved. Thanks! Plunge routering the grooves into the drawers was a ballsy move, man! Great result!

Sure is purty Ryan, it came out really great! Don't beat yourself up on the dove tails, only you will know whats wrong with them and to be honest they have that hand made look so it's a win-win. Thanks for the vid!
Beautiful, a lot of work in a small piece. Thanks for sharing 👍😄

Nice job Ryan, love anything to do with better organisation. You could retro fit a raised cover on the back that just hooks on two screws to hide the cables, which would be good as you would have easy access. Any how as usually a great video!
Beutifull Project. Congratulations.
So you are THAT guy. I remembered when I saw your bandsaw. Anyway good work!
That's awesome! Well done!
Awesome project! Looks great.
Nice job! I did a video on my channel for a charging station using some custom USB sockets/power supply modules to do something similar. I opted to build in pockets that let the devices stand up for quick grab and also, you can see when you have an alert, even when they are silenced. Enjoyed the build!
Looks great, great work 🤓👍🏼
I agree with Dv8...very therapeutic. Nice work. Your shop is looking great too. Keep'em coming Ryan.

Nice job! Great job on the dovetails too. Good thing you allowed for some ventilation.
Nice work Ryan. Dovetails look good especially since you are a little rusty. Need to make a charging station myself and this has some good features.

Your dovetails look pretty darn good! I'd have used finger joints and my Incra iBox because I can't do dovetails worth a hoot.
Nicely done
Took me three times before I realized [and saw the *] what "pobble" wood was. :D Nice build!
Beautiful, Love the finish.
Great job!

Nice...no nails! I have that same chop saw and planer!
Nice Job!
Drawer slides look good using that technique and the screw to set the final drawer depth is a great idea. Just a thought from other youtubers, when planing the long boards at 4:07, try keeping your arms locked and use your body and legs to drive through as the plane carries more momentum and won't get as stuck towards the end of the stroke. I'm still practicing but seems to make a difference.

*TopFineWoodworking. Com* , is a very comprehensive woodworking book! It breaks every little thing down, utilizing words, drawings, real pictures, and different diagrams. It`s unbelievably informative and helps me feel like I could help my sibling while we make our furniture together.?
