The ending is the best. It is truly priceless when it brings the family together like that. Beautiful table. The pattern is truly remarkable.

Not only is that one impressive table ... the amount of wood in his shop is staggering!

About halfway through the top construction, I said in awe: "this man is quilting with wood" (My mother is a quilter and like with this project, there's a lot of connecting things together in ways that bear little to no resemblance to the final pattern unless you know what you're looking at. Indeed, the techniques are quite similar, just with scissors and sewing machines rather than saws and glue. Also, that final glue up for the top....holy crap that was something else! Takes a LOT of guts to lay out that much glue on that many pieces of wood for a single glue-up! Doubly so when the wood in question has already been carefully processed and refined to even get it to that stage!

Mesmerising. Once I started watching, I couldn't stop, until the end. Good thing you compacted the whole job into just over 27 minutes. Amazing craftsmanship.

Wow! Simply, wow! You truly are beyond talented with the skill, time, effort, and technique, you put into this table. I love how the pattern worked out on the top. Also the extra details you put into the connecting joints, and edges, is very impressive. This would be a beautiful piece for anyone to have at their home. Don't forget around 100 000$ in tools and machines.. I'm more impressed by the old school Japanese woodworking masters who do all this with basic hand tools.. That being said, it's an amazing job and I couldn't do it with a million$ workshop..

I've seen so many table builds but that is truly amazing. Beautiful.

Yeah, it's an amazing "how to" video. I've just made the same table with a hand saw, a chisle and a bit of sanding paper. Amazing tutorial.
