Woodworking. Bench. Bending Wood Without Steaming. Эпоксидная смола
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this woodworking project we demonstrate the process of making a bench.
We made the design of this epoxy bench ourselves. This diy curved bench can be said to be part 2 to our video - AMAZING EPOXY TABLE - LuNGS | СТОЛ ИЗ ЭПОКСИДНОЙ СМОЛЫ, where we also use beech slats and an ash stump cut, as well as epoxy resin.
And also while watching, you can see how to bending a beech slats without using a steam box.And also to protect the surface of the wood, we used oil to protect against moisture. Therefore, it can also be used as a outdoor bench. The process of making the bench took a week, I hope you enjoy it.
Also, don't forget to check out the table making an AMAZING EPOXY TABLE - LuNGS.
Don't forget to subscribe if you liked our video.

I think you know you have done too much for too little this time round - hey, join the club - however your 'club' is way above mine. Previous stuff makes up for this a million times over. I think you are doing the right thing by including your 'almost there' projects to keep your fan base involved. Perhaps you have set the bar to high with your amazing projects in the past. No, all of us humans (8 Billion) want to see the best we (collectively) can achieve, but most of us want to have an attachment to those who are able to show they can produce the goods!! By showing us your best projects, which are truly stupendous, as well as your - seemed like a great idea at the time - projects, we are all more able to relate and learn. Very well done again!!

Yet another beautiful piece of functional art. Bravo! It really goes with the lungs table quite nicely. Great job. The soak it and use of the heat-gun is a great alternative to the steam-box. Pretty much the same result, heated water to relax the wood fibers, but right at the clamping jig. Brilliant! Thanks for displaying an alternative method.

WOW! That is an incredible design. Who does the designing, you or your son? Very impressive indeed. You were born to do this. I have been designing and making furniture for over 40 years and I am very impressed with your attention to detail. People don't realize that when you design and build a piece of furniture, it's not just the furniture you need to design, it's how to clamp it up, what jigs you need and what's the best joinery. That's why hand made furniture costs so much. I have a few tips for you. First tip...Rub wax over your band saw guide bearings it'll stop them squeaking. I noticed you were using polyurethane glue or PU as it's know as in the UK. I don't know if you know this but PU glue cures in the presence of moisture. You only need to put a thin film of the glue on one surface and wet the other surface with a damp cloth. The glue will foam up and cure more rapidly. Oh and, if you don't want to spend hours scrubbing your hands, wear gloves when you use PU glue. I used to have to spend about half an hour scrubbing my hands when I came home just to get my hands clean. So I invested in those cheap boxes of latex gloves. Best investment I ever made. I used to leave a candle at every machine in my workshop. If you rub it over your machine surface before machining your work, it will glide over it without leaving marks on your work. Less effort needed! Always a good thing. I am glad to see you both healthy and COVID free. I wish you and your family all the best and stay safe! Well done to you both on your latest masterpiece.

Damn men you have out done yourselves again. Absolutely crazy for your work , it’s just outstanding. Your skill is shown in every piece you make. I can only imagine how much you sell each job you do , for. Obviously it would be priced on how intricate the work was in order to make it , therefore taking in account the hours it took to build such a gorgeous piece of wood crafting. I take my hat off to you. All kudos earned & deservedly so. Congratulations to you on your success you show your clients , past , present , & future. Namaste gentlemen… 🥇🏆 P.S. second to none!!

A beautiful piece of design & precision workmanship as always. I delight always in the attention to detail, both by you & your son, on display again in this piece. The integration of the pieces of Ash stump into both the table & the seat, it works beautifully. Another great display of Art & Craftsmanship, one does not work without the other. Thank you for sharing your obvious joy in what you produce so that we can all enjoy the process. Stay well in these somewhat troubled Covid times. Don from South Aust.
