Woodturning - You Have To Watch This Transformation!

So I had this idea and it took me a bit longer than expected to create but I'm pleased with how it turned out.
For this video, I used pinecones, epoxy, and copper wire.
The epoxy has been sanded to 10000 grit and finished with polish and a buff.

And Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practice. The gloves I wear are tight-fitting and don’t have any loose threads. Hi Harry, I'm just an old lady who happened to drop in by accident and was hooked as I kept asking myself, "what is he doing that for?" The end result was worth the watch. It was stunning. although I don't think you needed the gold bit at the top, the rest of it was amazing without it. Well done. I have subscribed so you will probably hear from me again.

I went to the second hand store, bought a cup for .50....made tea... and enjoyed watching your creativity.
It's absolutely stunning, and I LOVE the copper wire at the top; it plays so well against the green and pine cones. You are very talented!

that's got to be one very expensive travel mug! I thought it was going to be a candle holder, which to me, would be so kool!!! a lot of hard work and creativity!
I love how the video starts with a raw piece of tree and then you put down a store bought piece of wood. it's food for thought

Hi Harry. I can’t imagine what genius bit of code caused the KZread algorithm to suggest that I’d like your video. It’s not something I would ordinarily have watched or sought out. But I am in awe. What a gorgeous, imaginative project-it was mesmerizing to watch it come together, and the finished piece is stunning. love the mug Harry, those cones blend perfectly with the colour of the resin, stunning effect. Personally id have gone without the copper wire, although I appreciate the thought process behind it and its was well executed and like I say its a personal preference. Great project as always mate.
