Woodturning - Burl to Vase

Here I turn a Burl from a Horse Chestnut tree into a natural edge Vase .. I cleaned out some punky areas and filled with epoxy resin coloured with antique silver mica powder and finished it with Osmo Oil ..

The thing i appreciate the most about watching long videos is when the woodworker takes the time to show the finished product from multiple angles, so thank you for doing just that.....

Oh my god... this is my favourite by far. It is simply perfect. I really love everything about this vase: the proportions, the colour of the wood, its grain, the finished surface... adding flowers to this Vase would definitely decrease its pure beauty!

Absolutely gorgeous work! This turned out to be a masterpiece; the live edges burnt brought this piece of art up a few notches. The beautiful blue resin placed in some of the deepest cracks and holes was a stunning move on your part! Great job!!

I absolutely love the natural edge you left on and the color of the wood grain. The blue you added didn’t pop as much as I expected until it hit the light but it almost makes it like a hidden treasure to the piece. Beautiful as always 😁

Love the spalting lines on this one. Looks like an antique map. The beginning where you made a spot for the live center with the forstner bit was genius. I've been trying to figure out a way of doing that with my lathe that has a simple tail stock, no taper just dead center.

It's wonderful. It feels like an inner transformation. A gentle but firm chipping away of whats not needed in Ones life. Only magnified, raw beauty is left behind. A suggestion: Instead of still frames, it would be awesome if you built a small turn style display to rotate the finished pieces in the videos.
