I'm also another one of the non-turners that absolutely loves the work that you do and again like several have said you never disappoint!!! I'm still going thru your older videos and I've seen one that people have said that watching your videos are relaxing, and I agree!!! I'm a school bus driver so during my down time between routes I'm glued to what you're producing!!! Keep doing what you're doing and I'll continue to watch!!! ❤❤❤

Me too! You are a true artist. If you ever worry you aren't because you don't throw paint on a canvas or whatever, remember that art comes in many forms. And you love the practical kind. Doesn't make you any less of an artist, it just makes you practical!
Jim, I find the wood turners who don't speak boring. I will never wood turn, but I enjoy your talking and find it relaxing, too. Thanks. Trudy

I agree, Jim. Your voice is perfect for voice-over.
Watching you struggle with the release of your projects never gets old. You put a smile on our face every time 😂 . Instead of using your drum sander right from the beginning, you might want to try starting with your cuts all grinder. Grind off the hot melt glue to avoid gumming up your drum sander and then put your project through the drum sander. It will save you time on sanding, it will also be less ware and tare on your eraser thus saving money and time and a lot of headaches.

When I seen you emptying the excess of Designerepoxy out, my stress level when up, I was one of those guys saying, leave the excess in there don't fiddle with it to much, let the Designerepoxy do it's job it will self level like a mirror. As I work with large projects like dining room table, conference tables and small projects etc... I learned (with many fails and start overs along the way) you wanting to save on Epoxy, not using enough expoxy will end up costing you more time and money because you will have to start over the project due to not having enough viscosity in your Designerepoxy when working on flat surfaces. Let the Designerepoxy work for you, it will level for you like a mirror (stop fiddling with it, the less you play with, the better and torch it. That's what works for me. And yes the project needs to be as level as possible. Glad to see you put back the epoxy you had taken out. With the top next flat surface project first, poor half of your Designerepoxy in the centre of the project then using the next size up on your trowel, spread the Designerepoxy all over the top evenly letting it spill over the edges using your finger lightly without scrapping the edges making sure everything is covered with the Designerepoxy, then poor the rest of your product in the middle of your project (don't spread it further don't mess with it) just torch it , swipe the drips under the edges of your flat project with your fingers as needed through out the curring time. If you notice a sag on the side, just torch the sag, it gives more viscosity to the Epoxy. You will notice the sag disappear. 90 percent of the time, you will succeed the first time, not having to do extra steps for that amazing gloss finish, saving you time and money. Your end result was absolutely beautiful. Great job Jim. Keep on turning. Two 👍 👍 up.
