    Has anyone noticed the image at the end? Division 9, the Sanzu Division. Sanzu is the river souls have to cross on their way to the afterlife, according to japanese mythology. I am curious where this is leading to and amazed by the amount of work and creativity put into the upcoming album.

  • @ashrafabir3274

    @ashrafabir3274

    4 жыл бұрын

    Sanzu division is probably developing artificial consciousness in secret using alternate sulfur. You can see the inner parts of the android's face glowing in different color like red and blue, until it becomes yellow (which is the color of phi-s16). Then a tube like thing appears and it starts to spark and finally it lights up and maintains stability. Then we see some 'light raining' effect, probably implying successful creation of consciousness.

  • @SidErdintch

    @SidErdintch

    Could be referencing the transfer of human consciousness into machines, which would make even more sense given the Sanzu reference you pointed out and the metaphor of crossing over to the afterlife.

    @@SidErdintch i think that means, to actually bear the pain inflicted by the loss of your loved one, you have to become dehumanized. Hardened by the damage inflicted, stone cold. Ive been through something like this. When the pain just breaks every wall you put there, just to tell yourself "im okay". When it stops rampaging, leaving you completely barren, and damaged, there is absolutely nothing. That pale yellow of emotional emptiness. And that one look in the mirror with emptiness in your eyes. "I feel nothing". Man, it hits you really hard. Ive never felt nothing more depressing than this, yet at some point it was relieving. "Im nothing more, than just a conscious machine"

    Ce morceau magnifique me fait quand même penser à Björk. Le son métallique, expérimenter les sons industriels, le tout sublimer par des cordes comme elle l'a déjà abordé dans Homogenic ou la b.o de Dancer in the dark. La tessiture de la voix. Passant du plus caverneux au presque aérien! Cette profondeur d'âme dans les textes et dans la mélodie. Le son décalé et électro qui donnent cette impression qu'on ne sait pas trop où ils vont nous amener mais on y va quand même et on se laisse happer dans leurs abîmes.... Le clip mélangeant l'humain et le robot. Très beau.

    J’ai aussi tout de suite pensé à Hunter de Björk. Il y a quelque chose de commun dans le tempo et les nappes de violons. Les deux vidéos sont aussi focalisées sur le visage de l’artiste qui se transforme.
