Talk about Murphy's law. We need to get you a catchers uniform to do wood working in. That was a big 'ol chunk.. I can't wait for my son to get home from school so he can watch this video. You are something else. I really like creations but you being hilarious makes it all the more better. God bless you.

@@MoonpieCreations NO problem, we really appreciate it. We told him you live far away so it will take awhile. We also contacted Total Boat and they are sending him stickers as well. My son is so silly with his logo obsession. As soon as he hears the MoonPie intro he wakes right up in the morning. You are more special to this family then you know. We laugh our butts off when Aiden copies your accent, he does it So often that we are all doing it now. By the way he cracks up every time you say total boat. Then we rewind and play, rewind and play. It takes us double sometimes triple the time to watch your videos. 😂 Thank you again for being so cool. MPC

This is my favorite piece I have ever seen from any creator. It's just magnificent
0:56 This moment had some “Buddy the Elf” energy to it 😂 Man, that piece came out BEAUTIFUL!
Captions listing tool identifications, narration on steps taken in making, good camera work, showing products used in the creation of the piece, and no God forsaken music. EXCELLENT!

Beauty of a piece! The white looks great... but you added moisture back into the wood by applying a water-base paint! Acrylic paint takes 3 weeks to cure and lose the last of its moisture which will also go into the dry wood.
@MoonpieCreations
4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Michael. I can understand your concern, but thin layers of acrylic paint will cure in three days. You can't use another type as the resin will not stick to it very well. The amount of moisture introduced was nothing compared to the wetness left in the wood. lol. It is very hard to explain everything I do in A 15 minute video as the bowl took three weeks to make. Ken

It does not matter if anyone does a piece I necessarily don't care for. The fact that someone has the balls and are willing to put their work out there for the public to see will always get a like from me. People who dislike or make stupid comments are those who can never create something awesome like this. And if they can do better they should check their ego at the door and make a suggestion rather than be a jackass. I absolutely appreciate Ken and others, they have taught me a ton!

Wow, that DOES look beautiful as an ocean, I can see why it's your favorite so far. The resin/wood projects have really been challenging you lately. That shard it threw at you, YIKES!! Maybe you should make offerings to appease the resin/wood spirits? I have to remind my brother to appease the saw spirits before he uses the table saw, which is determined to eat him. I hope you and your family and friends stay safe with Hurricane Dorian's upcoming visit!
