Wonton Soup Recipe เกี้ยวนำ้ - Hot Thai Kitchen

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Wonton soup is the ultimate comfort food, and this recipe is really easy to make at home! Once you've made these wontons you can also deep fry them for an appetizer if you'd like. The broth here is great as a base for any kind of noodle soup! I'm using pork and shrimp as a filling because that's the classic version in Thailand, but you can also change pork to chicken or use only pork or only chicken if you'd like.

These soups are so versatile. I do not eat pork and avoid shrimp for health reasons, but I used a chicken stock made from chicken feet and other bones and seasoned salmon filling. WOW! That chili oil takes it to a higher level as well. FANTASTIC!! I love your direct, hands on way with food. Very practical, down to earth, and fun!

Finally! I found a version of won ton soup that I like. I always had that issue of the coating of flour on the wrapper making the soup base murky and sometimes it thickens. So the extra step that you did (boiling won ton in water) I would usually do this too but I was always not sure if I was doing it right. Thank you for that extra instruction.

Served it with bread (baguette) and it was great for dipping!! Soo good! Thanks Pailin!! You are a rockstar!! PS - I have quite a bit of the meat left over. I'm going to make a bunch more wontons tomorrow and then freeze them!
