I worked in a large medical campus, a woman who was 4’10’’(not exaggerating) and 4’10’’ wide too (exaggerating a little) who worked the lowest tier job and still lived at home tried for a year to get my number. Because i was tall athletic and had a good job. She could not comprehend for a year why I wasn’t interested. She even had her friends approach me to ask. I expressed to them and her several times that she’s not what I’d be interested in. Each time my responses would become meaner. My last day there her friend asked me again and I told her… what would I benefit from this she would be an anchor on my life. Her friend started laughing. About a month later an old coworker said she was still asking for my number from people around the building.

No joke, I work in a hospital system and we had a 5'7 250+lb food service worker, probably barely made it out of High School, they just walk around and take patient's orders, it's easier than fast food work. Well this gal was fawning over a young doctor for weeks, always talking about him to the nurses like she had a chance. They should have shut her down but they didn't. She kept asking about him over and over and tried to get his number, and when she was rejected she got mad about it and became mean. She really thought she was going to be chosen by this doctor who could probably also have been a fashion model. This type of thing exemplifies how much this Country's culture has degraded, especially the family and upbringing, and the delusion of a majority of females in our society. I personally don't believe this will be repaired in my lifetime.

Had that kind of experience at a park one time. I was politely answering her questions and deflecting. She was persistent and chatty as well as kind so I felt bad being crass. If there is no attraction it just doesn't matter and sometimes physical conditions are really a turn off. It's pretty crazy the difference in looks women have from being fit to obese. One can be instantly attractive and other instant turn off. I'm no specimen myself but at least i'm pretty muscular.

Real talk, I'm married, but I've always wondered: has anyone ever successfully picked a woman up at the gym? I was always so paranoid about making women who were just trying to workout uncomfortable or looking like a creep. I can't imagine anything more embarrassing than asking a woman out, her saying no, and then having to see her again at the gym. In 2018 I had a cute nurse taking care of me for an entire week as I recovered from a massive surgery at a VA hospital. We joked around every single day and had amazing chemistry. On my last day there, I was extremely disappointed because she wasn't working. I was disgusted with myself for not asking her out and I knew it would haunt me forever, but I didn't want to make her uncomfortable if she didn't feel the same way or if she was just being nice. Nobody wants to be that delusional guy who thinks that the waitress is into him and completely misreads the situation. Anyways, on my last day in the hospital, a different nurse asked if there was anything I needed before I left and I said "Yea, my previous nurse's phone number would be great!" and we both chuckled. Three days later I got a text saying "Hey, this is Nikki". Apparently she did feel the same way and was bummed that I didn't ask her out. She was eating lunch with my other nurse who told her what I had said. Long story short, she broke some rules and looked up my info to get my number. We got married in 2021. I genuinely can't imagine my life without her, and it scares me to think that none of this might have existed had my other nurse not mentioned what I had said...all because I was too afraid to speak up.

A major unspoken problem, even by Red/Black Pill channels is modern Western women require their lives to be like Rom-coms because they watched S3x and the City and Friends their entire lives🤦‍♂They expect this perfectly ideal scenario where they organically meet the man at their job, school etc. and gradually fall in love over the course of weeks or months. They reject cold approaches and find it "creepy". So not only do you have to be handsome and wealthy as a man, serendipity of 'accidentally' meeting is also required by these women too. As an autistic guy I feel that, women see my singleness and hate me for it generally speaking. Of course that’s not all women but the majority take one look at me and write me off completely actively trying to find ways to prevent me from talking to them as if I was gonna ask for their number in the first place when I wasn’t and it’s kind of funny. Even when you fully stopped giving a shit and don’t go out people will find a way to other you for things beyond your control. Well in my opinion just looking at the state of my friendships society had better drop the hate for already struggling single guys it’s the majority of my generation. I’ll end my bloodline if they have to grow up in this society anyway fuck that. One of my friends has a dating strategy where he acts married with a fake ring, leases a nice suit and acts like a married stockbroker and he doesn’t leave the bar alone ever it’s hilarious imo and it’s why I don’t care if women judge me for being single they wrongfully judge married guys for being good cause it’s hot so what does it matter?

Fine, you don't make six figures, but are you building your career? Do you make high five figures? You don't have a six pack, but are you strong? Fit at all? Educated? Socially competent? Men aren't making themselves worth so much that they feel they _can_ pick. They're hoping they _get picked,_ and that some 10/10 bombshell "sees the real him." There's probably a lot of reasons to not go to these events, but "women are all trash" isn't it.

These are old benchmarks. Nobody actually lives like this anymore but dating hasn’t caught up. I don’t go to shit like this because it’s lame and awkward and I don’t care if I “get picked” or not. It’s all about what you can get from the other person it’s not about what you can give, building or needing. It’s all about wanting. Just what you want. It seems like men and women used to feel like they needed each other and would get together because of that need at the expense of their wants. And now men and women want each other at the expense of their needs. It’s completely inverted and now everyone is sad. The way to fix it is to stop living a self centered life, but that only comes from morality which only comes from religion. A lot of people don’t want to hear it but it’s true.

Also, you just have to be very confident as a guy to go to those events. We didn't need dating app info to tell us that most women go for the same 20% of men. The majority of men always knew it was an unfavorable numbers game. (I know a lot of people use the facts as a rally for hate, I do not think it is fair to hold their attraction against women. But I feel like most men cannot deny that dating feels like a probabilities game stacked against you.) So if you are average like most of us are, what is the point of showing up and paying like a fool to just be swiped left on in real life. When there is more than a coin flip's chance that you will just end up looking like the guy that no one decides to dance with at prom... but in adulthood. The way hetero dating culture is set up. It is virtually always men needing to shoot their shots by default expectations and most probably, get rejected. So if you feel like you are not like the top 20%, why go? But if you are the top 20%, why go at all? Kinda feels like finding a nice girl at a place or function that shares your same interests/persectives is the best way to go for adult men. At least the convos will be natural.

The most attractive feature about a man seems to be how tall he is. That's what this reveals to me. Anything under their ideal 6 foot height gets ignored. So yeah, you eliminate at the very least 85-90% of men at your peril. You're going to have a hard time finding a guy if you're a woman with these standards, and are very likely staying single. Either that, or you're going to be sharing a man with other women for the rest of your life.

Woman, here! I’ve only been asked out three times. The first, I wasn’t interested. The second, I was, but it didn’t work out due to the conflict between our energy levels (not his fault, definitely mine). Third time, I was interested. Went out twice. The first time I was unaware it was a date. The second time, I was aware, and the guy was super creepy. I didn’t know how to say no to him when he kept pushing for me to stay after I was visibly uncomfortable. That was, again, on me. I should have been more assertive. Still, I kind of hate that the dating scene is like this, now, because it makes it so difficult to find any interested parties, in public. I haven’t tried dating apps, because I don’t want to get laid. I just want a relationship. I’m not saying this as a ‘pick me’, but as a way of sharing my perspective. I agree with this video, wholeheartedly.

She stays at home to take care of our kids as well. I started swapping job every 1-2 years to get better paid positions to make a living for us, now making 6 figures. Lost my weight due to the better food I ate, started going to the gym got my life perfectly together, own a house, car, no loans or mortge. A real woman, will get to love you for who you are, at whichever point in life you are and support you to make the best out of yourself. Think about it logically, if she is pretty and sociable, and goes to this event, why would it be weird to think a guy that is handsome and sociable would also go to the event? They could be a good place to meet people, but those people still need to be in each others league. I remember going to a high-school thing where it was pretty much for couples and dates but anyone could go. Pretty much all of the guys hung out with each other while the girls were busy being frustrated and bored that nobody liked them, especially because there was so much stuff happening to their face and body which could loosely be described as makeup that they all seemed unattractive. The few boys that did go with a girlfriend got fought over by the rest of girls and broke up immediately afterwards. That was the day where 99% of all relationships died

Not really the fault of social media, but rather dating apps. Even average looking women get hundreds of likes on these apps and it massively inflates their egos to the point where a woman who is a 5 will only try to get a guy that's an 8+.

You're judging 50% of the population by the worst behaviour that gets pushed to the front of social media. I could make a list like this about guys too and it would be completely unrealistic bc most guys aren't actually like that. Your world view is myopic and you need to get outside and actually meet some real people rather than hiding scared behind your computer screens and comforting yourself that the reason why you're alone is because of this bogus laundry list. No, the reason you're alone is because this is the way you think all women are.

I guess my perspective is if you're into tennis or jogging, you go play/meet people in a tennis club or running group. Having that interest in the activity will help you meet people w/ similar interests/attitudes. That way atleast you get your tennis or workout or whatever in first and making connections is a secondary benefit.

Work on yourself first. Eat healthy, work on your physical and mental health and focus on your work or hobbies. I'm not saying you have to be jacked or even muscular, but it helps a little. You will almost always find someone based on hobbies or work. If you're just trying to find a partner at these events that revolve around drinking then it will be harder to find someone based on your hobbies unless you really enjoy cocktails, beer, etc. as a hobby which is of course fine as well, but probably not at these events. Also, if your hobbies are Warhammer try a boardgame meetup to venture out or if your hobby is medieval armor or something rather obscure then branch out into European history. The more you niche down, the harder it will be to find someone with a similar hobby. You NEED to be willing to try other related hobbies if you find someone who is into something related. Good luck y'all!

But, Jesus Christ, she wouldnt stop talking about how much she liked some dude everyone knew about. She only texted with him in month intervals from fear of getting rejected. She happened to be delusional enough to keep parading that he was hers and she had him already. For 2 hours she kept taking and saying the same thing and wondering if she should even talk to him. Assuming what he's interested. And I just sat there answering every time with the same dam answer. "Why dont you ask him???!!!" The girl is in her late 20s and already looks like a mom that is stuck going to whine clubs just to have other people to talk to.

Still nothing beats knowing someone genuinely, taking it slow and having the time to get to know each other to build connection and then feelings afterwards. This is why dating these days is hard, people want to impose their ideals onto someone without knowing anything about them, and then when it's not it they just jump to another.
