(sigh) Once again, the absolute best way to take in a terrific speech like this is to watch it and then move on, without reading the (mostly) embittered useless bile that is the comments section underneath.

What an incredible tribute to an incredible leader. We are so lucky as Americans to have Meryl Streep and Hillary Clinton, both amazing, talented women who rose to the top of their fields. Hillary will be one of our greatest Presidents.

+Anna Natille I'm trying to understand what everyone sees in her. I haven't decided who to vote for, and I want to be sure I haven't missed some redeeming quality about her that would make her my choice. So far, I have only seen her bad side.

The two most strongest women (other than my own mother) I know. They are so amazing, and I am so happy Hillary is doing what she does.

I respect Meryl completely for her talent, and of course, she is reveling in her high moments and the good things Hillary has done. However, the culmination of her and her husbands behind the scene activities that got her to her position and how so many peoples lives have been negatively affected, and have been documented as fact, are issues that people also need to look at and take into consideration, without the political right or left glasses. Then decide if Hillary were your boss, would you feel comfortable or wonder if your future was secure in her hands. Think about it.

Please give the sources for your certainty that the Clinton history you know is not the Clinton history that Lee Atwater, Karl Rove, Roger Ailes, Rhoades, et al want you to think you know. Please provide sources from reputable journals or periodicals, check to see whether they've been debunked, then continue with your argument. (David Brock has admitted that the Arkansas Troopers lied to him when he reported "Troopergate," for instance, so you can't use that one.)
