Empowering Women in Tech Leadership with Susan O'Connor
Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Tech Podcast.
Today, we're delving into the world of women in tech and leadership. Our special guest for this episode is Susan O'Connor, a dedicated Leadership Coach for Women in Tech.
About Susan O'Connor
CEO & Founder Shift Left Ltd www.shiftleft.org.uk
Susan worked in the IT industry for 30+ years, starting her career as a developer, climbing the corporate ladder to becoming the UK&I Operations Director for Worldline, a multinational payments organisation.
As an Operations Director and certified coach, she seamlessly blended her passion for diversity and empowering women. In addition to her daily Ops Director tasks and DEI initiatives, she provided personalised coaching to help women achieve career balance and growth.
Susan pursued her passion and purpose by leaving her corporate IT job to establish her organisation, Shift Left Ltd, in 2022. She now uses her industry experience and coaching skills to help women who want to leverage their Leadership skills or feel undervalued, unseen, and uncertain about the direction of their careers. The women Susan has coached have all significantly improved their lives, achieving promotions, switching jobs and companies, and enjoying a better work-life balance crucial to their well-being.
She is driven by her vision of advancing Equity in the Tech industry by shifting the goals towards the left without waiting for the 300-year timeline predicted by UN Women. Instead, her business aims to positively impact the lives of every woman she works with, improving their workplace culture and relationships and ultimately paving the way for future trailblazing women that the industry needs.

I'm not into tech at all, KZread recommended this very interesting video to me. I'm a freelance illustrator, but I still found this interview very useful, inspiring and just brilliant! All women should act boldly in life and communicate with each other as much as possible for our own well-being and success! Thank you, I learned a lot of new things!
