Just because you call us beautiful doesn't mean we feel beautiful. We wear makeup to please ourselves not men. I can't tell you how many times my man told me I look beautiful without makeup when I feel like crap. Nomatter how many times you tell me that won't change anything unless I feel like I am. I wear makeup because I feel bang'n in it and I strut with confidence. Don't you all think that we do everything to please you, 99.9% of the time we do it to please ourselves lol.

@@richarddarlington1139 oh how cute of you. My point being is that unless she thinks she feels beautiful nomatter what you say is invalid. Your job is to support her and not make it seem ingenue. If you want her to feel truely beautiful tell her why! Don't just tell her " Babe you look beautiful in that dress" go " babe that color looks beautiful on you, I love how that dress shows off your curves and how it makes your eyes sparkle. " Relationships are all about the effort you put in it and shouldn't you make the effort to make her feel special? If that doesn't work, there's an underlying problem. She's most likely stressed out and feels like her life is going out in flames. Find the cause of the problem, like your example. Maybe she was going thru something rough at work, or in some cases didn't have a good night's sleep and feels crummy. Then one thing after another things add on and it comes to this. She tries to get ready for your date and puts on a dress she loves to bits, but when she does that mentality that she kept throughout the day gets to her and even then she feels like crap. It's up to you as a partner to make her feel better and fulfilled. Trust me, she will do the same to you. Respect earns respect. That's all I'm saying. Look outside the box and find the source.
