This type of lectures r causing hatered towards marriages. Women and men both r avoiding it and I see scores of intentionally unmarried young men and women around me. Mothers r scared to bring in a daughter-in-laws who will steal their most precious treasure while women r looking for a man that they can boss around and men r finding other illegitimate means. Every house I see has old parents taken care of by an unmarried or divorced daughter while sons r living with their wives serving their in-laws. What we need is to teach both boys and girls 1st how to choose an appropriate partner 2nd how to be fair with every family member from both sides 3rd how to be paitient while influencing each others bad habits. Does the lecturer think that this world is filled with perfect men and women? U don't get jannah for having perfect ppl around u, u get jannah by struggling with imperfect ppl around u. That is y in older times the advice of ullema to be paitient made homes while current young ulema's stand up for ur rights advice is destroying marriages and family systems.

By the way, there's nothing wrong about being dark-skinned. Unfortunately, almost all cultures in Asia and the Middle East are negative towards dark-skin. I'm surprised and disappointed that even many Muslims are this way. Allah made your skin so you shouldn't call yourself ugly. Racism is unacceptable in Islam.

Woody Broody I saw that, it’s disappointing to think people feel that way when so many men and women face difficult trials in attempt to perfect themselves for Allah. Overall, it boils down to misunderstanding. They learn about their rights, but not their duties. They love to demand, but not provide. Some ladies will not consider a man without a certain wage in fear of being taken from her fathers house and having to live in less than what she’s accustomed to. But she should also have something of value to offer besides beauty. A lot of men demand their wife be pure and chaste when they are not themselves. Or that she cook and clean for them when that is not an Islamic requirement for a wife, but a basic survival requirement for an adult. Yet, they they barely provide financially or she can provide equally if not more. The point isn’t to put men and women against each other, but to consider that if we all were given our perfect equal at this moment a lot of people would be disappointed to realise their spouse won’t meet their high standards. The answer is to better yourself and only ask what you can give. It’s not responsible to wait for a pious person to come along and make you more practising. Pious people also deserve spouses of high piety. They shouldn’t have to lower their standards or settle for someone who refuses to work on themselves, but wants the sun and the moon. May Allah guide us and forgive us all.

I cry everyday because of my husband who I loved so much it was Unconditional Love, a very strong love Allah swt put in my heart for my husband and he destroyed everything with his lies, tricking me and other women into polygamy marriages only for lust/sexual desires, my husband didnt provide for me. I loved him so much and I was loyal, never cheated on him and now I cry so much, i have mental health problems, emotional abuse and physical abuse because of his lying and tricking me into polygamy marriages and the other women don't know about me but Allah swt exposed him to me and then he moved his wife and children out of London Tooting to Blackpool I think so I cant tell her the truth, she dont know about me Terrible. I couldn't find the other women. His family knows everything SubhanAllaah Ya Allah. Even now his telling me theres no wives and children Ya Allah SubhanAllaah. This was a eye opener for me that how Muslim brothers lie and tricking women into polygamy marriages or they have secret wives and secret girlfriends and their still looking for other women for marriage when they have secret wives and secret girlfriends and secret children, even their own family, mothers and fathers dont know about. Allah is great. SubhanAllaah. No respect for other peoples mothers, sisters and daughters when you have your own mother, sisters and daughters SubhanAllaah... from this horrible experience, horrible, horrible experience that Muslim brothers can abuse us like this and noone cares, SubhanAllaah, I realised that us Muslim sisters dont get justice, Muslim sisters suffering so much in polygamy marriages and the Muslim brothers get away with it because polygamy is in the Quran. My husband didn't love, care, provide, may bill's, he didnt pay rent, he didn't help me, he never buy food for me, its was about lust/sexual desires and all I get from people is it's his right, polygamy is his right and look at what he did to me Ya Allah, Allah is so good. Allhumduillah for Allah. Allah will give me justice soon. Muslims dont understand how this horrible experience made many sisters leave islam, if your mental health is destroyed then your deen Islam will be affaced SubhanAllaah. Now I understand why so many Muslim sisters left Islam, other Muslim sisters took their hijab off and stop going Masjid, sister were being mentally abused, emotionally abused and physically abused, no help or support for converts to Islam, now I understand why sister started new relationshipwith non Muslim men. What I've learned from this horrible experience Muslim brothers can oppress their wives and get away with it and the ummah support him in his oppresstion SubhanAllaah. (((Please don't trust noone, dont trust people on online, even Muslim can be fake, dont trust noone when it comes to marriage, my husband was lying and tricking women into marriage when he was already married with children, girls/women your talking to a man for marriage but you don't know his already married with children and this is happening alot))) kzread.info/dash/bejne/fndnp9GLY8q1dpM.html

Ruby Reef It was the culture, there was a time where being a teenager was looked upon as being an adult. You notice how most teens hit puberty very young? Thats when most cultures state that they're now adults and prepared for marriage and children. Biologically speaking that is correct but otherwise I agree, just wait a while. Thats why most people marry in their twenties or some even in their forties or thirties.

@@cinna_sultan that's exactly what i mean. People get mature at different paces; some are ready to have a family in their twenties, and some in their forties. Yet some cultures make it obligatory to get married before a certain age, like an "expiration date" is set. My culture does that too. What If some teenager or immature person wants to marry, without thinking it through, and ends up getting divorced? Not saying it woyld always happen, but it *has* happened before me. No, they still hate every other girl that can potentially be his wife. Once someone steps in that role she is on the target. Thats why they purposely try to choose someone who will be easily tackled, someone soft spoken or not a threat at all. Then they use all their mind games to confine her only to the duties at home while she continues to be the number 1 priority of her son by ruling over his mind and heart. The Husband and wife will meanwhile never be able to build a healthy relationship built upon love and trust.

You could instead be polite and humble to share your knowledge and views, not only would that invite a discussion and you'd get a chance to learn something you didn't know about, it wouldn't scare or discourage anybody to share their opinions on the matter May Allah forgive us and protect us from all kinds of evils Ameen

Unfortunately, compassion, respect and empathy are very rarely taught and children learn by what they see. The Mother is the most honoured person is Islam yet very few are taught how to respect and cherish her. This is prevalent throughout generations and has resulted in women becoming abusers and seeking to avenge the pain they are feeling and male privilege. Respect, honour, compassion and empathy should be taught alongside everything else we learn. Many people follow the rituals of religion and are praised for their ‘practice’ of Namaz etc but it’s all wasted when behind closed doors they are abusive and disrespectful. Your spouse should compliment you and your relationship with your parents not supplement it. Mothers in law can be possessive and viscous they take it out on the daughter in law because they feel inadequate and don’t know how to love.

Assalamu alaikum warahmathullahi wabarakathuhu, Jazakallahu Khair for this video. I'm a young, unmarried, well aged boy. In this video, that line "You are in the middle of two worlds". Subhanallah, it is a big responsibility offered to the husband. Young people like me and many other males will struggle and suffer in this part. So, the real thing I want to say is, it doesn't matter you are age 30 or 60, you have to accept those both responsibilities and live your life. If you can't, then you are not ready for marriage. Staying single and serving your parents seems better, I think so. Please include me and my family in your valuable duas. May Allah make us a perfect and pious person before getting married to our spouses, Aameen ya Allah, Aameen summa aameen

Thank you for this video! Honestly it’s sad how men (mainly from our dad’s generations) felt this false sense of entitlement towards women... People often mix culture and Islam together. When in reality is it’s culture that views women as “weak”, or rather the “inferior” sex. Whereas in islam, and esp in the eyes of our creator allah swt we’re all equal regardless of gender. And unfortunately due to all this muslimahs are now also revolting and choosing the feminism route over islam... May Allah save this entire ummah, ameen❤️.

May Allah reward him for covering this topic. So so important.Men are so important in the ummah, they are oblivious to the impact they have. And Men being upright, just and uplifting of women can have a profound impact.Woman have faults too for sure but to be qawam lead by example. In terms of families, communities and societies.I come from a community where women have the job of the men and women and the daughters end up resentful and embittered to having witnessed that their parents treated the siblings so differently based on gender.Alhamdulilah we don't have the living with in laws culture but they raise and judge genders different.Boys having less responsibilities and more freedom. As a result the boys are unprepared for manhood and or the reality of being a responsible, just yet gentle leader.it has created a lot of issues because the men get defensive when criticised.Women sort of created this expectation and passed it down so there is blame with them too. Its a disservice to the ummah to raise inadequate boys who do not rise to the responsibility which awaits them. Also brothers need to realise the stress of an unhappy marriage or mistreatment on a pregnant woman biologically impacts the developing foetus and child , increases her chances of depression and consequentially the ability to be the attentive and emotionally present mother she would be otherwise. We always say that the women are the backbones of the family but if they aren’t fulfilled, supported and nurtured emotionally that can make that a difficult task or detriment the quality of that strength and the quality of that home.

He has responsibilities of his parents and family on him as well, not just his wife. His parents have a right over him too. He belongs to his parents too. He has to worry about who will care for his parents when he is at work or not able to 24/7. These are all very important issues. This is an important thing that most young girls and wives nowadays don't respect and think about. The thing they think about is I am not responsible for them. The first thing they want is a separate home from his parents and don't care or think about his family or parents. They can also be quite harsh, impatient and disrespectful in the way they talk too. Also there is nothing wrong in living in a joint family if things are okay and the in-laws are not seriously threatening, abusive towards the wife or harming her. There is nothing wrong for wife to be co-operative and responsible in household duties. She is not obligated to by Islam but if she lives with family/parents, morally and respectfully she should be considerate and responsible.

I think men and women both experience difficulties but in a different way, for Allah (swt) is indeed fair for everyone, we are all tested differently for indeed everyone has a problem and we should all be patient. I think everyone should be good, kind, merciful, compassionate, righteous, soft talking, helpful and show love and concern to both Male and female not just 1 gender but both especially the elderly, children and disabled ones and may Allah (swt) forgive the believing men and believing women and those who deserve to be forgiven, for indeed Allah (swt) is truely most merciful

Assalaam alaikum. You 100% correct that there is no different. Because my wife was like this in every kind of way,no I don't see my children at all. Flirting with boy's and man and she is over the 40. I've never hurt her in any kind of way,how is this possible. Swearing even by Allah when telling lies, telling lies to the family, without even talking to me first if there was a problem, and it seems that all that she said where lies about me,only to be free and do haram thing's. So this is also about man's that are going true hardship.

Yousef Cui - nothing more to add to your comment; to find comprehensive inclusivity in this relation. We first of all fail to understand the importance and the responsibility that changes overnight for spouses once they say “I Do” the deficits that prolong in this relationship takes a toll and with time the simple deficits change masks and become abusive in nature due to new goal posts erected to outsmart one another under the same roof. If we look at the Jews particularly at this social aspect of a human they have evolved considerably due to the fact of their survival as the chosen ones or other worldly power (of course only if they had followed the path of the true religion). We have a great responsibility towards our Creator and our Prophet(saw) to be the best of people to mankind, since that goal is forsaken and hence this is one of the many degradation that have crept into us. It is not enough to make spouses to understand and cope with each other, the emphasis should be what our Creator is expecting from both of us; as a husband and as a wife. No one is doing favor on anyone here not at all in the slightest moment, it is for the sake of Allah and if that sincerity for Allah’s sake comes into our way of life then for such spouse or person Allah makes them to be loved and Respected. Allah knows best.

I would advise you to take khula from your husband. If a husband is committing zina then that is valid reason for divorce in Islam. Also ,as you said that he has multiple relationships , you don't know what disease he may pass on to you. You deserve a better life than this , please don't waste your life on someone who has no value or respect for you.

There's no universal problem in the World its only how we respond to that situation. Most of the Time people are much concerned about society & culture. If you choose to take a decision of parting just cut off with negative people from your life. However, practical approach in my opinion is you can do Istikhara. It's done to take divine help when a person is not able to decide what to do. It's done often before getting married, starting a business (investing), etc. 2 cycles nafil prayers are offered with a Dua. Then in the sleep the person get signs what decision he/she has to take. If you see some positive/good dream then it is a sign you should do it, if the dream is negative then it shouldn't be done. If the dream is neutral then i think within week the circumstances in a person's life would be automatically created which makes easy for him to recognize what's to be done. You should research i am not so sure about the neutral dream. Lastly, no matter what never ever think that Allah s.w.t. do injustice to anybody. He is the Most Just. Subhan Allah ! People will get accordingly if not here then surely in the Hereafter.

It's not that divorce is "hated" (apparently some scholars even say that that is a weak Hadith), it's just that it's always sad when relationships don't work out. BUT it is Halal for a reason! And that is because sometimes divorce is required, or needed to have happen, for the safety and well-being of all involved. Sometimes there is no choice but to divorce. There's no reason to feel gulity, if you read about the Sahaba, they had VERY high divorce rates, and that is because they didn't tolerate any mistreatment from their spouses. There's nothing wrong with it, in fact, in the majority of cases, it's actually a very good thing! And people's lives become better after divorce. So don't feel bad or guilty. You did the right thing by first trying to work things out, then seeking divorce when those attempts were not working nor reciprocated. You did everything the Halal way so don't worry. Allah is just, He would never wrong anyone, nor want anyone to suffer unjustly. All the best to you
