Brothers and sisters, never get attached before marriage, before everything is official, set and clear. Don't get emotionally attached to a person no matter who it is before you get married, make your heart and mind devoted to Allah alone, and everything else is second, so when something bad happens u don't brake. A large portion of your heart is full of iman and love for Allah, if your heart is attached to someone else you will be gone when they are gone.

Assalamu alaikum dear brothers and sisters...I'm going through toughest period in my life. I personally don't know anyone in this platform. But I'm requesting all of u to make Dua for my son. He is diagnosed with some serious illness. Only Allah can cure him. So pls my beloved brothers and sisters pls make Dua for my child. This a polite request from a mother. In sha Allah Allah will reward u all ... Edit: jazakallahu khairan kaseer for all your duas. Alhamdulillah my son successfully completed his 3 years treatment . Alhamdulillah he is fine now. He was diagnosed with leukemia then. Since this is a complicated disease we still have to do monthly check ups to monitor his progress. Still need your duas. May Allah bless us all.

I am in the same boat as yours. I have fell for a girl, we talk regularly. She said she will change, start wearing Hijab and everything. But she said she will do it for me, not for Allah (s.w.t). That is a very dangerous statement in my opinion. I am in such an indecision, its running havoc through my mind. I have never been with such an understanding person before and she wants to get married, but her religious commitment till now is questionable.

Everybody should work on themselves, getting knowledge, gaining taqwa, growing sincerity in worship of Allah. But it's always more responsibility on men, on brothers. Why? Brothers are shepherds for their families, mentors for their wives (sisters). Their actions, behavior, character, efforts reflect in their wives. If parents are righteous then children try to look up to their parents and absorb their good character, good habits and their iman is growing by the will of Allah. So, brothers, we have to be example of righteousness for our wives and children. Then in sha allah our wives will become righteous and our children. May Allah bless us (brothers and sisters) with strong iman, fear of Him, good character, patience (sabr), love and care for our spouses and children, parents, relatives, our ummah.

Hadith (there is an english translation too 👇) حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الأَزْهَرِ، حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ‏ ‏ النِّكَاحُ مِنْ سُنَّتِي فَمَنْ لَمْ يَعْمَلْ بِسُنَّتِي فَلَيْسَ مِنِّي وَتَزَوَّجُوا فَإِنِّي مُكَاثِرٌ بِكُمُ الأُمَمَ وَمَنْ كَانَ ذَا طَوْلٍ فَلْيَنْكِحْ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصِّيَامِ فَإِنَّ الصَّوْمَ لَهُ وِجَاءٌ ‏" ‏ ‏‏ It was narrated from Aishah that: the Messenger of Allah said: "Marriage is part of my sunnah, and whoever does not follow my sunnah has nothing to do with me. Get married, for I will boast of your great numbers before the nations. Whoever has the means, let him get married, and whoever does not, then he should fast for it will diminish his desire."
