All the bloopers aside, that goal at 1:43 is astonishing. She hits the ball while she's falling, and it goes straight up in the air. While she's on the ground with back to goal it happens to land on her and she makes a beautiful lob over defenders and keepers. While there was clearly a big element of luck in this, she was nevertheless alert enough to take advantage of the improbable trajectory. A truly great play.

You know its class when your not quite sure which one's are the defender's and which ones are the attackers 😂😅

one of the things you cant really see unless you're down there on the pitch is the pace difference between men and womans soccer. i played in college and had a brief stent playing semi professional soccer in the states and i remember scrimmaging collegiate womans soccer teams and it was literally half the pace we normally played at. it's nothing against woman, but the difference in athletacism, size, and strength is just massive. even our third string substitutes easily took on 3-4 defenders and solo scored. it's just so much slower than mens sports.

Yeah, that's the case here. I admit women football does have some potential especially in European countries since it is well developed from the rest of the world. But the quality of it makes it hard to be entertaining enough for the audience since there are physical limitations for women. It is like why choosing a cheap restaurant when you can afford expensive restaurant food.

I second this. Watching women’s soccer is like watching paint dry on a wall but waaaay less exciting. Watching them reminds me of soccer in middle school where a bunch of people are running around just trying to kick the ball with no sense of awareness. This is exacerbated when the ball gets closer around the goalkeeper.

They hold the record for the most international viewership on public streaming service which was (not including watching parties and private streaming services) somewhere in the mid 11,000,00s, would have been more considering most people probably weren’t watching alone. Anyways my point is they’re more popular and bring in more money than the Australian men’s football team (The Socceroos) So in their case they deserve more.

I wouldn’t say most but some. Actually some of these fails weren’t too bad, but a lot of it was just plain awful. The women’s football in general seem to lack coordination and control of the ball, which is not the case in men’s football. Yes mistakes happen, but how and in what quality or there lack of is a whole lot of difference. I do find it fascinating though. These are women who are playing football for years, on top of training, that’s been their life’s work and the quality of ball control looks similar to that of 10yr olds who just started. I do understand men and women aren’t equal and I do expect less strength and speed, but some of this makes you scratch your head 😂

@@roenin true a much smaller pool in comparison to men for selection… but still, they play like 10yr old beginners and not even a somewhat experienced 14yr old boy… the women look like children still learning how to walk straight… it’s still quite bizzare… these women didn’t pick up the ball yesterday, they had at least a decade to control the ball… I notice this also with women driving… even after years of driving they still get nervous like it’s their first day 🤣 there are exceptions of course but 90% of them seem to lack motor skills.. . But when it comes to other sports like tennis or ufc women can perform much more coherently so it does make one curious wth is up? Lol 😂

@@craighanson-rc1mdi had mario basler in mind. i guess nobody knows him outside of germany but here he was/is a legend for free kicks etc. and i didnt make this stuff up, last time i saw a women football game a weak ass free kick fumble his way into a goal and commentator "uhhhh aahhhh like basler in his prime"

To be fair, some of these things also happen in men's football.

some of these bloopers are pretty common for football in general, but you can definitely see the goofiness in general of how they play.

I admire women who play sports like I really do. Though women's football is nowhere near as interesting or intense as men's football, it's admirable that these women atleast gave it a try (P.S. this was pure comedy 🤣)
