A group of local older men (one in his 60s) started up a weekly soccer game in the park for health reasons. Most never played before. Most could not even run in the early games and just walked. After 2 years the old men were running and passing and almost looked like they knew what they were doing 😋 Anyway they were noticed by a woman from a local u-20s women's league, she asked if the old guys were willing to practice with her team. It was agreed, and it was on. The guys were sure they would be no match for the women, fat bellied old men with no training against young fit athletes. However surprisingly the women never won (in fact they were thrashed in the early games). The women loved practicing against the old guys, said it was the best training ever. Unfortunately the guys were kinda old and tired and after season 3 the numbers started going down and the weekly game petered out.

I never saw women's soccer. I never saw soccer really. That was the bomb!

They are missing the jump strength. It isn’t really their height, I was a very small goalie too. All my teammates were 15 cm bigger than me. But I was very good in jumping. I won the high and long jumping tournament in my school many years in a row. They can’t just jump as far as they need to. That’s the problem, so smaller goals would be helpful. But if you make the field smaller, then the effect wouldn’t make a difference. The field has to be the same then.

I used to think women's football was about boys U15 level. Now I'm sure I overestimated them.

To put it mildly, men's soccer also has huge flaws/mistakes. And in women's soccer (as in this video) there are some pretty nice/lucky moves. But no matter how many feminists try to explain to everyone, that women's soccer is on the same level as men's soccer. This is not true. The tempo is slower, the shots are weaker, the passing distance and accuracy are lower. There are more mistakes, the teams are less used to each other, there is no chemistry between the players (because I did not see anywhere in this video that the team members know each other's every move, that they know where the other will be at this time and/or at that time). Men's soccer is not as exciting for me as it was between, say, 2006-2012. But women's soccer needs to improve a lot to even be considered to be mentioned on the same page as men's soccer. Or in the same chapter.

Women commentators are bad enough, at lest they have a joke of a game to comment on. I notice that in most of the clips, the stadiums are empty, that just about sums it up.

I was expecting the highest level of comedy and got it. The biggest observation is the level of football is so poor you can see why under 5's thrash the so called best women's teams. If they have not progressed to under 5's level in the next 200 years, they must ban women's football.
