This is so true. All these people complaining about women not making enough in sports, or about female led movies not making enough, all wanting to blame men. If women showed up for The Marvels the way they did for Barbie, 50 Shades of Gray, Twilight, etc they'd be billion dollar franchises. People just need to accept that men like things, women like things, and those things aren't always the same. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just how we are.

You're spot on about high school basketball. I live in Minnesota and our WNBA team, the Lynx, were a dynasty. Yet I've never actually met someone that has been to a game. At the same time I watch both the boys and girls state tournaments every year. I actually prefer girls HS basketball. It's a different game. The WNBA is women trying to play men's basketball. I was working at one of the schools here when the boys won a state title. The team had 3 future NBA players, and a 7 footer. 7 kids on the roster over 6'7. The idea that a WNBA team could beat that team is silly. Do you want to watch Westbrook throw the ball down, or watch Britney Griner attempt to dunk?

women's volleyball the net is 7 feet high in men's it is 8 feet high why not lower the nets...if i am going to pay to watch a sport i want high quality athleticism displayed not fast break air balls

The only player I knew from the WNBA was Kara Lawson and that’s only because she was 1 grade above me and we went to the same HS… and I forget this other one we all know got locked up in Russia for the dumbest move ever… still can’t remember her name though lol.

Men's sports are for the best athletes in the world. Women's sports are so that women get a chance to play sports against people that won't easily dominate them.

It’s his best bit I think. He nails every point and shows us the huge flaws in modern feminism and female “empowerment” they hate men but they want them to do everything for them so they can sit back and root against all the women the secretly hate. People like myself who normally don't give a flying f about women's basketball were interested. Clark is a generational type superstar and there's potential mass appeal there especially with Reese coming in with her if they market it correctly. If it fails with this set up though then it'll never happen.

Something I was wondering if he'd say wasn't just about ticket sales-- like y'all mentioned-- I was hoping he'd also say something like, "Have you ever watched a WNBA game? and compared it to an NBA game?" And following up with a rant like (in Burr's voice), "I have. It's a tragedy to watch, comparatively. They don't have the same athleticism, half the time they're missing shots, aiming too high, missing passes, running fouls so the game stops practically every 5 fuckin' seconds-- they aren't as tall as men so they don't have the same reach, right?
