Nice to see at least one video showing women playing skillfully and successfully on the 'football' field. Plenty of 'comedy' videos out there already.

I dont see any objections or problems with women's soccer....they are insanely skilled and talented and in my opinion are a joy to watch playing.

They are not the same level. The Women world champions lost desastrously to a team of 15 year old boys. And that was not an outlier. The teams of Germany and Australia had the same thing happen to them.

Great footballing moments of the ladies - but extremely bad cuts. The editing technician should still learn a lot.

I enjoy watching women’s football because to a casual observer like me it is more exciting because more goals are scored. But we mustn’t delude ourselves, yes there is certainly skill and accuracy demonstrated by the scorer but in no doubt, the reason most of these result in goals is that the women’s football defending and goalkeeping skills are below par. It will improve over time and when it does these spectacular goals will become a rarity. I have watched men’s football for decades and I have never seen a goal scored directly from a corner kick, yet is relatively common in the women’s game - the reason is that the poor defending and goalkeeping skills are allowing the ball to pass into the net.

The reason why is because the pool of player is smaller and so, very competitive player are playing against far less competitive players.

@@Biomirth It’s just a term in general everyday English usage (check a dictionary), which means worse than expected or usual. For example, from the Collins dictionary “If you say that someone or something is below par or under par, you are disappointed in them because they are below the standard you expected.”. That’s what it means in general use. Golf is unusual as the aim is to get as low as possible so they practically reverse the general meaning of the phrase, so in Golf, under par means good which is a anomalous use of the phrase. So your attempt to make me look stupid backfired.

Nah, from what I've seen it's the opposite. In men's football, the depth of quality is much greater, such that many of the top players are of a similar standard, aside from the geniuses like Messi. Whereas in women's football, the depth of competition just isn't the same. So, when you get a few world class female players, they are literally untouchable, and can walk through defences every single game. This is why you get huge scores more often in women's football, because there is more of a quality disparity between the best, the average, and the worst elite league players.

Beispiel Hinspiel Bayern gegen Arsenal WFC, da waren 20.000 Zuschauer in der Allianz-Arena (75.000). Dann soll man 40.000 Tickets für 5 € an Schulen in München und um zu verkaufen. Da es Schüler sind, werden die schon Lärm machen. Die Frauen von Arsenal WFC wären auf jeden Fall eingeschüchtert. Weil sie solche Massen auch nicht kennen. Denn in London waren auch nur 21.307 Zuschauer da für Rückspiel.

Thats the cream of womens football players playing a team of 14 year old boys , many who wont even make it as professionals . That is the immense gulf that actually exists between men and womens football.

The legitimate problem with womens football fo4 most men is that the standard is quite low compared to mens football. The audience for this needs to be women, because otherwise your asking men to watch what is essentially schoolboy level football as though its professional.

Women can play football. Five year olds can play football. Fifteen year old school boys can plat football. Fifteen year old school boys can score seven zero against professional women's team. Women "are insanely skilled and talented"... in their lane. Women can play against men. Women can lose 24:0 against men. Women can score goals against other women. women can look good against other women. So, to answer the question: Women can't play football? Yes they can, against each other. What about re-framing the question? Can women play against equally (equivalent) insanely skilled and talented men?

The best women are as entertaining as the men, but there are fewer of them. The men's game is much faster and crazier, and I prefer that.

Most women's football looks like the slowded down replays, that you see in men's football. Also, whenever women compete against men, they lose BIG. So come again with them "being better". It does female players no favours when you compare them to male players. Just appreciate how well they can play without unfairly expecting them to reach the top male standards. We don't expect the female 100m champion to break Usain Bolt's World records, so why would we expect female players to be better than Messi? When you set unrealistic standards for others, then you're just setting them up to fail. Whereas setting ambitious but achievable goals allows them to compound gradual improvements that lead to huge gains over time.

There have been eight women's World Cup tournaments with 917 goals scored, 25 of them being own goals. That is 2.7%. 54 own goals from 2720 in 22 men's World Cups. That is 1.9%. Not a real lot of difference. There were 34 own goals by 32 players in the 2020-2021 Premier League season, of 37 weeks, so nearly an average of one a week. So, not exactly "rare". There have been 15 own goals in the Women's Super League so far this season in 21 playing weeks. So far less than one a week and the averages for both are similar. Conclusion, your opinion is way off, in both terms of statistics and social awareness. Get with reality, or crawl back under your biased, discriminatory rock. Get it into your head that it is two genders playing the same game but with some different outcomes due to physical factors and different levels of supporting resources. They are not meant to play against each other, so crap attempts at comparison are totally redundant. If you don't like it, why do you watch these clips? Your actions somewhat contradict your opinions. PS Goalkeeping from two male internationals, David de Gea and Matt Ryan, in the last week has brought some laughter. Poor goalkeeping isn't female only.

Honest ? I don't agree, there are a lot of cheaters too in women's sport. Fair ? I don't agree as the pool of player is smaller, very competitive players are competing against far less competitive players. As good ? I don't know. When I watch a woman's football game, it reminds me the 80's and more globally men's football before the Bosman Law, when only 3 foreigner player were alloided on the field.

​@@cowcow9248 Men's football has been professional for over 140 years, and is now a multi-billion dollar industry, which receives huge amounts of investment. Women's football has only been professional for a few decades, is a much smaller industry, and receives far less funding. So, statements like "they are just as good" are just not objectively true or realistic at the moment. Maybe in future when women's football reaches a similar level of maturity to men's football, we will see similar levels of talent and skill across both the men's and women's game, but it's just being realistic to say that we are not at that stage yet. Of course there are plenty of sexists who are biased against women's football, but there are also plenty of people who are biased in the other direction, and neither extreme is factually accurate.
