These Alpha Males claim that these type of hierarchies are based on wolf packs, but in reality the scientist who claimed that wolves have alpha's, sigmas, omegas and betas, was proven wrong. He researched wolves that lived in captivity, in unnatural constellations, so they couldn't show any natural behavior. Actual wild life wolves live in family units, with the parents so a female mother and a male father leading the group equally, which are the children. And if someone is in the group who has better abilities in certain aspects, they let this wolf do it's thing in that field. But wolves never have "born leaders and born followers", they don't have strict hierarchies.

I just hate how everything is reduced to sex. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, trust and intimacy are difficult for me. Am I low-value because of something a man did to me against my will when I was a child? To them? Probably. But I know better. I am *so* much more than sex. So I’ll go get my degrees and enjoy my career in research with a husband who loves me for my mind-not my sex appeal. So thank you for the video showing what clowns they are. Cheers to womanhood 🥂

100%. That's because attractive and self-confident men really don't need to prove that they are “alpha males” to anyone. They don't go by what other men put as the definition of success. They discover what definition of success and personal development they themselves want for their lives and follow that notion with confidence. And this is incredibly attractive not only to women but to anyone who sees a man who is sure of himself and comfortable with his emotions and his choices. These men who push themselves to be seen as "alpha males" show nothing but their blatant insecurity, and their need for external validation from other men, because they can't find that validation in themselves. When we talk about teenagers and young men who still don't know much about life and about themselves, this kind of childish behavior might even be understandable, but in men over 30 it's bizarre and extremely off-putting.

RIP to all of the brain cells I lost while having to listen to these “alphas males”… I don’t know what’s worst: -That these people actually have influence over young men (especially those that’ve felt like they haven’t been fulfilled in life yet) -That there are women that will enable them to act this way (usually from having low self esteem and feeling like these losers are the best they can do in terms of finding a partner). If you’re thinking about being with a self proclaimed “alpha male” that holds these primitive beliefs, you can do better. And if you’re a man and getting life advice from one, you can do so much better. These are the types of guys that can’t maintain meaningful and longterm relationships. And if they do, they’re often toxic (and sometimes even violent). You will never be content if your partner if the metrics used to determine her worth are imposed upon you by a guy that sees women as objects for gratification and procreation. And to wrap it all up, people can (and should) have friends of varying sex/gender identities. I’m a bi male yet still have friends that are women, friends that are men, friends that are straight, and friends that are gay. Men don’t all share this one superficial motive when forming connections with others. And you should never underestimate the importance of developing lifelong friendships.

The whole red pill / alpha male thing is just an elaborate form of cope. All these guys have been rejected at some point in their lives by someone they had a crush on, and rather than think "oh, maybe we just don't vibe that well together" or "maybe it's me, maybe I could work on some of my interpersonal skills, etc", they flip the blame in the other direction onto women. Not just the woman that rejected them, but all women. It's easy to let the little voice settle in the back of your mind, especially when they're trying to convince you that you're out of time and that's when you stop thinking. Also, I'm afraid that many fall for the ''man who provides'' conversation. If they want to be stay-at-home moms that's fine, but God help them if they don't prepare for a possible divorce or a way out of an abusive marriage.

My friend group since college is me, two girl friends, my now husband and a male friend who is in a committed relationship with someone outside of the group. I don't get this mystery around platonic friendship, not every hetero man is going to be romantically interested in every single hetero woman and vice versa, but people can still be genuine friends. I feel like we've all known this but these idiots who don't see women as humans have been spreading the idea that this is impossible.

The "platonic love between a man and a woman doesn't exist" is mind blowing.. the fact that some man can't have such a friendship doesn't mean no one can.. i have 3 male friends that i met in different times in my life and they are all going to come to my wedding in a few months. They all met my fiancé and i met their girlfriends. In fact the girlfriends are going to be on my bachelorette patrty and my friends at my fiancé bachelor party. He asked for them there because he is a smart guy, he met them and never doubted me about my friendships. You really have to be a low quality, insecure and toxic little man to "not allow" you girlfriend to have male friends... big big big red flag girls 🚩🚩🚩 just thank him for not losing your time and walk away😎

I found out a old friend had gotten into these alpha male podcast things when we hung out for the first time in three years. Went from a lovely (if somewhat bad hygiene) geek into a unpleasant (still smelly) geek. I expected to have fun and nerd out with him, but he sat me down and tried to make me watch these alpha male podcasts on yt with him about how they expected women to be, when I told him I hadn’t come all that way to sit there doing that he got all aggressive with me, insisted he wouldn’t be paying for dinner (I didn’t want dinner I was having dinner with another friend and had already said this) or activities. He told me ‘the common variable of your friends killing themselves is you’ and that it was ‘women like you who are destroying that traditional gender roles and directly contributing to the rising number of male suicides’ when I pointed out that I was not a good digger / I yelled at him and he found out I made more than 3x his yearly income. I had in fact been planning to treat him to crazy golf and had already paid for a reservation. Despite making it obvious that I was done hanging with him, he proceeded to follow me to where I was meeting my other friend - trying to be all funny and sauve but not once thinking to apologise. He’s since tried to contact me but still not thought of apologising. “Alpha men”.

I didn't know my Master's degree was to impress men and not actually get better job SO I CAN MAKE MONEY TO LITERALLY SURVIVE IN LIFE ????

Me and my husband both expect each other to keep healthy and fit. After we had our daughter we had both put on some weight and instead of hating on each other we go for walks together with the baby and plan meals that we both enjoy. Communication is key! We have both lost weight and didn’t have to be mean to each other to do it.

I love how these dudes are always like "dont date women with high body counts!! If she has children, shes a hoe!!!" When they usually have like 4 kids from 4 different women and a "body count" of like 60. It's comedy at this point.

I think if you are in a relationship you still should be able to be friends with the opposite sex,BUT if that friend is flirting with you constantly or if you and that friend have a lusting problem,its safe to say that maybe you shouldn't hang out anymore.

@@Daisiest no I'm actually very friendly with the dudes. they are nice, but ultimately very shallow. my point is, no matter the socio-economic status, most men who do find me attractive are very shallow. it's not a trait i'm looking for in my life partner. why force commitment where it isn't going to be sustainable in the long term? edit: and usually, lack intelligence of some kind. book smart but no emotional intelligence, no smarts but nice enough to have a chill 2 hours around. I'm not perfect either, but also, my expectations are limited to having respectful, kind, and ideally fun interactions. most decent people can fulfill that much in a 1:1 hangout.

Plus even if I date a dude if I don’t do what he wants then he just end up leaving. For your case please don’t stop eating. About the platonic friends debate, I've grown to realise that in general woman believe in friendship between sexes because we are thaught to look for personality qualities while men are thaught to look for fisical qualities ofc because of the patriarchy. But while we have tried to conform to be more cooperative (because we were taught confrontation isn't ladylike) they have become more and more sure that they are right. So, as a result, the lie that friendship between sexes isn't a reality has been spread and we are going back to the times where if you're a man who is able to have platonic friendships with woman then, the only logical explanation other man can come up with, is that you're gay. My second conclusion was that beeing a woman sucks ass no matter what century you're in, because there is no peace, there is only fighting for your rights and beeing berated by stupid man. Thank god for the few good ones that not only are able to be great friends but also have you feel less delusional by confirming that man suck and are very harsh on us woman
