Yaaaasss!!!! She seems so chill....and frikking awesome!! I think she looks cute in her tomboy-ish style! That dress is clearly not what she is going to wear on a day to day basis.....and, even though she absolutely looks fabulous in it.... I just wish they would have given her a more realistic makeover....like cuter/more sexy day to day casuals. Just saying. Keep being you, giiirrrrll! Way to go! 😍😍 #inspirational

They did. I got all new clothes, jeans, leggings, tennis shoes, everything. Because the reveal outfit was just that-a reveal outfit to have in case I have a wedding or something to dress up for, because I owned nothing dressy. But they were very intentional in helping me keep my tomboy style and just class it up a bit.

Stunning. Glad she was able to achieve her goal.

She looks amazing. What an incredible amount of hard work. Way to go Ashleigh.

Her look before was cute and stylish, hate leather but loved her boots, glasses and haircut from before. She just needed a little bit of help with clothing and styling. Now she’s looks a bit older, with new haircut and dress. But she seems happy with it though, which is important. Best ✌🏼

Her makeover aged her indeed. I think her former style suited her well and could have simply been made a bit more edgier and chic. I hope she truly did like it. On live TV it's hard to say otherwise.

What I can't stand about those makeovers is that they never seem to consult the people getting the makeover on their own tastes, they just do whatever they want. Not everyone wants their hair all chopped off. Not impressed at all with this makeover!😏

I agree. She is beautiful and did all that on her own. Then they got a hold of her and made her look unnatural. I liked her hair better longer. Great job Ashleigh! But you certainly didn't need them. Take it from this southern girl, country is your vibe. Be yourself.

Man, y’all sure know how to make a girl feel good. LOL!! They didn’t change me, they changed my outfit. My hair is barely even different than it was, they just slicked it back for the show. And THANK GOD I gained self esteem when I lost all the weight. Comments like half of these would have destroyed me back then. Much love, carry on. 🖤

Ashleigh, I'm real proud of you! You look amazing! Don't listen to these people. Some people feel threatened when someone changes for the better. You accomplished a big goal and you did it by yourself. Kudos to you Girl!!

Wooooooow she looks really good!!!! Congratulations on losing all of that weight!!!! I know it took alot to be able to do that!!!! That is inspiring to see that!!!!!

I lost 137 lbs but had to gain some weight back, I didn't look like me, to thin. Today at 185 I look great and feel great. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 44 & my weight loss journey started at 47 & that was my biggest weight of 307. Smaller portions and a lot of walking is how I did it. I tried adding weight lifting to my exercise but that hurt my joints to much. I walked around a building near my home and added a little every other day until I was up to 2 miles, w arthritis, you have to be careful of how much you walk because your legs can buckle under you & yes, that has happened going over my limit. Today, I walk at least a half mile (my new limit as my arthritis has progressed) to maintain my weight. I went from a size 42 down to a size 33 & briefly in a size 32.

That style of dress didn’t work for her but I’m happy for her weight loss and healthier lifestyle.

I lost over half of my body weight. My highest weight in 2016 was 516 lbs. after being hospitalized and PT rehabilitation for 9 months I did lose 100 lbs. Due to my medical issues I was a candidate for weight loss surgery (vertical gastric sleeve) which was done in June 2019 my weight at surgery was 416 lbs. So my last weight last week March 8, 2021 I weighed 209 lbs. I also had abdominal Pannicolectomy (skin removal surgery) in December.

Ashleigh looks amazing. Good for her!

May I just point out that lady featured is not a ”new woman” - she's the same wonderful person with a different body size. It makes me crazy when people assume losing weight changes who a person is on the inside. And yes, as you can see from my thumbnail, I am a big woman but I also starved myself for two years as a teenager trying to look the way that people told me that I should. At both weights I was still myself, just in a different clothes size.

Absolutely LOVE this. Did that take courage or what!!??!! You were a cutie of a tomboy but you make a lovely sweet & sophisticated woman as well. If I could empower my youngest daughter to do this my heart would be so happy. She's about to turn 35 & sadly she has some health issues & has had two unsuccessful back surgeries. I know that she fights the good fight but really has ZERO self confidence. She's always been overweight even as a child but was so darned cute. As the years went on she confided in me how she never felt good enough & kids from an early age made fun of her. How heartbreaking for a mother. She literally spends no time on her appearance except if she has to attend a function. She really needs some help & support & instruction on how to become someone who she can be proud of. Her confidence is in the minus range. She does struggle with health issues for sure & has not been employed for quite a few years. However I know that with a great source of information and inspiration she can become someone who she can be proud of. There's so much more to her lifes story but I truly believe that with a real source of inspiration she can find the keys to becoming healthy & just as loving & beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Is there anyone out there who can offer suggestions to bring this young woman to a place where she is not afraid to be all that she can be? It is my greatest wish that my daughter can become the best that she can be. I do understand that her struggles are not only physical but emotional as well. Any advice is so welcomed.

Her hair opens up her face and is easy to take care of.

At the beginning I thought “she has short hair awesome they won’t cut it any shorter”... I was wrong o.o they always cut their hair so damn short. Smh

Mines the opposite....I've exercised since I was 16 ..I've been 120 to 126 my whole life size 3 -5 and when I turned 48 my knees started swelling ...I just kept exercising through it I thought I hurt my knees somehow then everything started swelling my legs, feet, stomach and in 5 months I've swollen to 190 and no doctor can figure out why ...my whole body is swollen to its limits and I have no clue what size I am ...I'm lost when buying clothes...I still have my old clothes because I'm praying the swelling stops ...some day...I can still feel my skinny self underneath it all..😪

Keep looking- til you find a Dr who knows what's wrong, for SURE. I went through many Drs who kept telling me my headaches were just tension, x rays showed nothing, etc. Typical " woman who's emotional" attitudes. I finally found one who listened, did a different kind of test. I had a tumor in my head. Got it in time bc I kept searching- just bc one Dr doesn't know doesn't mean another one won't! God bless!
