Fawziyah Javed was a successful lawyer who did voluntary work for orphans and mentored vulnerable children; her husband, Kashif Anwar, treated her with violence and contempt, culminating in murder.
But what the brutal Kashif didn't realise was that his abused wife was using her legal skills to slowly build a case that would come back to haunt him -- in the High Court.

A lesson needs to be learnt in all communities of all ethnicities including these types, that remain in long term marriages and then succumb to their deaths unfortunately. Teach your children and daughters. Start from a young age that this type of behaviour will not be condoned and isn't acceptable. A very sad case indeed and I wish the mother and her family with good health and time to heal.

I think it was because moments before Fawziya passed away she was able to testify to the witness who found her that her husband had pushed her and not to let him near her. So like a lawyer she presented her own evidence for her own court case though she didn't live to see it 😢

I think its just that because of her legal background, she knew to record a bunch of other evidence like texts, voice recordings of him being abusive, him stealing money from her account, going to the police about his behaviour (I imagine with the intention of using them for the divorce + custody proceedings), so on top of the statement she managed to give before she passed, it built a case of his character even in death.

She built evidence of her abuse in the form of recordings, told her mum what he was like and lodged a report with the police but didn't take any further action. She also told two people that he pushed her. That's what it means 'dying like a lawyer'.

In the detailed version of this case, the dying woman, who went to the mountain, to get her 12 k back probably in her pregnant state, initially blamed husband, then she said "she thinks, she did it". Jury was not unanimously convinced, but the majority of jurers played to the gallery. I hope his poor parents have the financial resources and they can appeal this conviction.

Although 2 years older, but she is a solicitor, and how she planned the whole thing with her mother. For me what makes it all an accident is, why did she grabbed his arm, and practically dragged him to a high mountain, in her pregnant state, when she is actually after getting her 12 k back? And they never asked him during the trial why did he take 12 k from her account? Is the money he spent on this 4 month wedding or something else. I hope this goes to a retrial.

  • @VengieShiva

@@alikhan-ri5ye I can't agree, I feel that what you propose happened is pure conjecture. He stole the 12k from her account, it does not matter as to why it matters that he did. Also how can you draw the conclusion that she dragged him up that mountain? The lady was a lot smaller than he was and was also carrying his child, she was probably exhausted from him dragging her up there, which come to think of it could be why he made her go there. From the evidence submitted in the case he was controlling and thought he owned her. Her husband was not innocent and to propose that he was based on all the evidence shown is shocking IMO, no retrial should be granted unless new evidence comes to light, which I doubt very much
