@@CoopyKatagreed! I was once a manager of ancillary staff in a large (26 dentists!) dental clinic and I did the hiring of all the assistants, office staff and hygienists. After 10 years in that position I can honestly say I only fired 3 employees and that was out of the more than 150 personnel that worked there at some point during that time. I wanted them well-spoken with a clean and professional image (no visible tats whatsoever, no piercings other than the ear lobes, no unnatural hair coloring, etc.). Sometimes I’d put the applicant through 2-3 interviews to really get a good grasp on who they were and if they’d be a good fit. I don’t know why more employers don’t put more time and effort into their hiring practices.

@@Alex-sr3ez A few reasons. For starters, because hiring managers are in the habit of emphasizing "diversity" over professional image and demeanor. They're told by corporate to interpret this kind of combative behavior as an element of culture. And when you're hiring for awful work at awful pay, the pool of applicants is proportionally awful. Very low IQ applicants with mental health / behavioral problems is the norm for unskilled, minimum wage work. If you don't get fill those positions with warm bodies, then they'll just replace you, the hiring manager, with someone who will. Corporate simply does not care as long as the location is turning a profit.

The Uber driver will never know how lucky they were they dodged this one.

To be fair lots of people like this are experts at putting on a fake persona. A false “front” that makes them appear like normal, level headed individuals and good potential employees. Have you seen that one where the bigger lady, I’m only mentioning that because she was complaining about the lack of space and the seatbelt choking her, in a relatively small car. She was complaining about being hot and wanted him to roll the window down. Then I believe wanted him to turn the air up. And of course, complaining about other things mentioned already. It was literally just one thing after another. He was trying to accommodate her, but nothing was sufficient. And from what I saw, he never lost his cool. I wish I could remember everything, but it was literally nonstop griping from the moment she got in the car.I will never understand why people are so mad and bitter all the time. Stress and anger age you and it’s just not good on your overall health. And it just doesn’t feel good. At least not to me. I do not like getting mad.

Sad thing is she'll act this way for the rest of her life and think everyone else is the problem.

Yes, it's up to the manager/owner to know where his powers end, with respect to the edge of the curtilage or the leased parking lot, or sidewalks, or whatever. The police may then rely upon their statement that she's still "on our property", and can be arrested for trespassing, at the deputies' discretion.

You can tell people simply doesn't know the law. Being trespassed means that you are not allowed to be on the property and it doesn't need to be in black and white. It can be told to you verbally. Also she talking bout she wasn't read her rights before getting arrested. Your rights are only read to you before being questioned.

What a charming, well-spoken, thoughtful, self-controlled, rational, emotionally well-balanced young lady. Who wouldn't want her as an employee?

When I got fired, I was ready to get as far away from that place as possible. I, certainly, didn’t stay on the property and curse at everyone! She should have gone away from this business and called the Uber. She did not improve her day by getting arrested!

Especially a place like Culver’s where you probably wouldn’t need a reference to get an equivalent job. Just leave it off your resume. Even if someone calls out an employment gap, make something up, I doubt another fast food joint would care to follow up.

If someone doesn't want you on their property and you refuse to leave its called trespassing, it's a simple concept.
