And He did it at the best time. The daughter's biological parents had deceased and the mother had a missing piece. They both stayed on course TMH had for the culmination of this story. Beautiful

A full circle moment: Imagine as an adopted kid watching the Popular " Black Show", from 70's called That's my Mama, only to learn years and years later that the gorgeous young lady you are watching on the classic tv show is Your Mama!!! This is how it happens when there is divine intervention. Its full circle.

This made me cry. Soooooo happy for both of them. Children are not a mistake. This is awesome!

How beautiful when she responded "Yes on your mom" and then to reaffirm immediately she said "yes I'm your mother". Loved it!!!

This is a wonderful story but not that uncommon (except that mom is an actress) - - adoptees find birth family all the time, some for the good and for some, it doesn't turn out well. I'm glad this has a happy ending.

My clients is 60 years old. She was put up for Adoption. She actually found her Aunt via DNA & FACEBOOK. But the aunt has been hesitant to introduce my client to Biological Mother. FYI she looks alot like Sanaa Lathan's Mother @Oh thats Lauren..i fixed it.

Lynn Moody was the actress from The show " that's my mama" , Flacon Crest and Roots. From what i understand, Lynn was 14 years old & not 18. I saw this story on Facebook last year. Lynn changed her story by saying that she was 18 years old. Always the actress; nevertheless, I'm happy that they found each other.

She was born on February 17 1946 as per her Wikipedia page. She was 18 in 1964. Look it up.

@@bellepierre24 There is an asterisk beside the information on wiki. If you click on that it says “or February 17, 1950”. Wiki is compiled by information put out there so it not always accurate though it tries to be. Hence the asterisk. Only the birth certificate that we will never see will tell the true story. Also from many other reports Lynne didn’t move to LA until she was 20. So the moving to LA and getting pregnant at 18 is questionable.

Her age doesn’t matter. Back in those days, some unwed mothers were forced into giving their children up for adoption, you couldn’t even be seen on public while pregnant. These women literally had to go into hiding. She did also mention that her father wasn’t supportive, she came from a very conservative family and being an unwed mother back in those days was like a death sentence. Also keep in mind that women didn’t have a lot of opportunities back in those years.

I am waiting for the Lifetime Movie. This is a story that's needs to be movie. I cried and laugh just watch it.

Ok, Lynn was very young when she got pregnant and gave up her baby. When she became financially stabled, very rich tv star, why on earth didn't she go and find her child? If that child did not search for her mother, would that mother go and look for her? It does not make any sense to me. That mother should have made the first move.

I have not walked in their shoes. However, I have talked to women who have been there. The dynamics cannot be understood with everyone. Perhaps the biological mother didn’t think it would be right to interfere in the life of the child. That is only one example of a multitude of examples. Please show mercy to those who have walked a different path. They haven’t judged you so please do not judge them. You have not experienced the same things. But you might, so withhold judgement and show mercy. God is merciful. How can we not be? We should live by His standards. I pray you will understand what I am saying. Blessings to you.
