Man left in alleyway as an infant searches for birth parents: Part 1

After his adoptive parents died, Bill Gillespie, now 53, began digging in his past and he was not prepared for what he found.

He respected his adoptive parents enough to wait until they passed! They should be proud! His parents raised an honorable family man

And now he is too late because of that. He shouldn’t have had to feel the need to wait for their sake, that’s selfish of them to expect.

I was even given a very large and handsome Teddy Bear ( a gift for all adoptees),who sits on my bed to this VERY day! One of the BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!🥰🥰🥰

For those pissed about Part 2 not being available, here's a link. But seriously, ABC News, it's messed up to post half the story and not give a way to find the rest. I had to dig for it, and I shouldn't have. At least post a link to the rest of the story in your description. It's not a clever way to force people to your website unless you let them know that's the solution. abcnews.go.com/Nightline/video/53-years-brothers-meet-time-part-53791230

So happy they finally adopted for laws in NY that allows for adults who drop off newly born children at safe locations: (i.e., hospitals, police stations) *not* to be a questioned. Just pass the child off safely. It saves lives. Children have died in the process of people trying to avoid _shame._ God Bless them.

The comment under below the other, shows link to part 2. Emotional! Send him and.... loads of hugs and ❤️ love ❤️!! There is always a reason for every action. If we knew and understood more, we would so often realize it was a reason why a person did what they did. People often try to make decisions at the time with the best intentions in the situation they are in.. ( can't comment what I want to, for not to ruin the story for people who wants to see part two.. But I wish people was careful not to judge so much. In just listening to others being judged, if a person comes in a tough situation, instead of being open, honest.., the fear of getting the same reaction, makes to many to scared to ask for help, keep secrets that could have and so much better if chared.. How we as families sit and judge others while children listens, can later keep them from daring to chare important life decisions. We all should remember that. ✌)

If anyone had dumped me in an alley as a baby, I don't think I'd be in any hurry to meet them.

For Part 2, Google the ABC go page and the words man-meets-birth-family-time-53-years. Looks like previous comments with direct links to it have been deleted.

Oh! So instead of a part 2 anywhere you have to search for “man found in cardboard box” instead of alleyway! Why did they do it this way?!!!
