Super exhausting and that's why I will go out of my way to avoid it at all costs. The place where I work has a day crew and a night crew, but the night crew is compromised of only people like this who love the confusion. I hate waking up early and wish that I could switch to the night crew, but I just have to deal with being tired all day because I know that I would get fired ASAP for not going along with the pronoun nonsense if I switched to the night crew so I could sleep in later..

Absolutely classic! The turnabout moment was priceless. I was introduced to a non-binary person at a wedding who used they/them. I told "them" that I identify as a cranky rigid forgetful old man and the pronoun stuff severely triggered me because I can't keep up. I asked "them" to please respect my mental impairment and allow me to use traditional pronouns. "They" didn’t know what to say.

my doctor's office keeps sending me reminders to "update my record" in my online account. What they want is for me to input my preferred pronouns, my "gender", and my sexual orientation. I refuse to do it. I've been seeing this doctor for 5 years now. If he hasn't figured the first two out by now, I need a new doctor. The third is really none of his business.

Some years back, while having lunch with a good friend, she informed me of her daughter's desire to be referred to as they/them. From that moment on, the conversion became a Twilight Zone episode. It was very difficult to follow as she was using the terms even though the daughter was not present. Since then I have made sure to never bring up the daughter.

This is brilliant ! I can now drive alone in a carpool lane because I identify as a barbershop quartet !

I am a.grammar teacher and when a new staff member introduced herself as having pronouns they/them/their, I told her, I'm sorry. That is against my deeply held beliefs in subject/verb agreement. I cannot tell my students to refer to you as a plural pronoun. She couldn't say much back to that. She quit after a few months, thank God!

We have a customer that uses they/them in their email signature. I was adamant that unless that person has multiple personalities, that pronoun is grammatically incorrect and I would not use them. - I have been steered clear of working with that customer. :D

Officers should start doing this now. Confuse the hell out of them and play there own game till they just switch it back to normal human language.

I have a 6'4" math teacher friend that was being disciplined for not using the desired pronoun on a girl student. He decided to show up to the hearing dressed as a hooker in heals, wig, lipstick, short skirt the whole 9 yards. He was laughed at and is now suing the school board and the teachers union.

Why a queen? Why not a king? (I'm just asking a question okay cuz it might seem something else) Actually here in India anyone can call themselves as "we" (and it isn't related to gender) and it's because in historical period well-educated/big people used to do so irrespective of their gender and still would be considered a single person and not multiple like in this video.... But today rarely anyone uses "we" for themselves and definitely no one from young generation.

In English, there is a rarely used form of the "we" pronoun known as the, "majestic plural" that may be used by the crown (regardless of King or Queen) and is in essence, the King or Queen using "we" to represent their entire country/nation-state in speech, since they are the _de jure_ heads of state.

A few years ago when this whole gender pronoun nonsense was beginning to trend, a college student totally trolled his college in this way. A professor asked him what pronoun he’d like to be called, so he told them, “His majesty.” Everyone was shocked with anger and disbelief. People argued against it, but he won the argument cuz there was nothing in the student handbook against his choice. He became the most hated man on that campus for throwing their gender pronoun absurdity in their face. The guy’s name is Grant Strobl. Look it up. It was great.

There were other like-minded students who did it too, but his was the most original so he got the most attention for it. Some people on campus tried to find ways to punish him for it, but there was ultimately nothing they could do about it.

My brother in law just left the highway patrol after 20 years because he had to ask what the pronoun of the person is of the vehicle and then go back to his car and run it through the cheat sheet on how to proceed from there. The law is different depending on how you identify. This Babylon Bee isn't far off. I wonder if they did it because they are in California like he was. He retired and moved to Tennessee a few weeks ago. He knew any day he was going to get shot because of all of this crazy stuff going on.

@@MyDyerMaker My family goes back in TN to before the Battle of Kings Mountain. TN has GOOD laws and they have been interpreted by the Courts fairly. But I know there is movement of foot to turn Nashville like Austin. And they are calling Memphis " The Seattle of the South". But a Memphis judge put one of the founders of BLM Pamela Moses IN JAIL for voting illegally in Shelby County. We like law and order in this state.

@@this_epic_name to be fair in the opposite direction. Using his/her pronouns are not necessarily gendered either. The speaker could be referring to biological pronouns and not gender pronouns.

​@@jl4018 There is only one set of pronouns. There is no such differentiation as "gender pronouns" and "biological pronouns", and that's the entire point. It's why the entire concept of personal pronouns is illogical nonsense. Pronouns like "He" and "She" denote biological sex, not perceived identity. The word "He" for example, refers explicitly, and exclusively, to a living thing that is believed to be the biological male of its species.

@@kingofbudokai I agree 100%. The problem is that the gender theorists have hijacked the definition and have modified the culture to what I am afraid is a relative point of no return. Of course I think if people played the game per their new set of rules, we may be able to end the game sooner. For example I trollingly tell some people I am non-binary under the new definition of gender. Categorically I am not the same group as Elliot Page or Caitlyn Jenner so per the rules of their game, that makes me non-binary. So I have them refer to my “biological” pronouns to allow their game to persist and point to the absurdity of it.

I work in a prison. Some of the offenders claim to be “trans”. In order to avoid “triggering” them, we call them by their last name. That way, no pronouns are needed.

@@nicolab2075 it might be taken that way, but they also might not wish to be referred to by their captivity identifier, either, something they didn’t choose (except by their acts that got them assigned one), which is also their logic if you call them by a personal pronoun assigned at birth via tradition. It could go either way: insisting on their preferred pronoun is a way they exert power over others, so the only way to know how each will react is to test it on each one individually.

The cop clapping while talking was a great touch. It's incredible how common that has suddenly become.
