Sure every country has its particularities but if you want to have a healthy business it is necessary to organize the structure. You can hire people you know to help them but are they really doing their part? Quite easy concept to grasp really. He should have talked this through with the employees and the guy though. Could have been solved without that much trouble but if you want to make a profit and sell the business the numbers must make sense or you won't reach the objective at all.

Blagoveschensk, December 2004...one year exactly before Mark Seidenfeld arrived there, I was there too, although for an entirely different reason. There is really only one reason in my mind why any American with half a brain would willingly visit Blagoveschensk, especially in December: to bring home a tiny little 17 month old boy from a bleak grey Orphanage, and call him my SON. I spent 6 weeks there, trying to get him home. I know all about extortion, and left-over communism, and corruption too, especially in the courts. Let me just say that Mark is a very fortunate man. And today, as I look at my gorgeous 19 year old boy, I know in my heart it was worth it. And like Mark, I also learned that love is the most powerful thing on Earth. Even if you have to travel 3/4ths the way around the world to find it.

Leave it to a female judge to show "real balls" in the face of a notoriously corrupted/bought and sold judicial system. I'd like to learn more about the judge and how her career has been. Anyone else elated after hearing the fairy tale ending? I was hoping it'd end with them still being together, but didn't expect too much considering I'm old enough to have experienced the dismal anticlimactic sentiments reality usually has to offer regarding stories like this.
