One of my favourite weekly shows back then. Best tv
Aaahhh this is it! It's been 30-odd years since I last saw it but I've always remembered that ending scene with the mistletoe!
Watching these old shows makes me both happy and sad. Happy because I love the show and it brings back memories of good days and ppl gone by. Sad for the very same reasons.

miss these shows ...when i was ypunger and christmas was fun and a big thing......not so much anymore...very happy to go back to these days...very sad to leave them......
Yes, watching these old shows is VERY bittersweet ----------because now, I'm old-------& mortality is a real thing------& if being alone at Christmas sucks---------being old & alone at Christmas--------well, it's just plain sad. --------------Still, it's nice to see once again, the gorgeous Jan Smithers, & to remember that my 30's were an awesome time. --------------------------------WolfSky9, 73 y/o

Johnny's bored reaction to contemporary Xmas music is exactly like mine. I do remember working for this one station that thought it would be a good idea to start playing Xmas music early, so they started right after Halloween. Thankfully that experiment never repeated, because even listeners were calling the station to complain by Thanksgiving.
A very sweet and underrated episode of WKRP.
WKRP In Cincinnati has always been one of my favorite TV shows. Every character on this episode had a heart of gold. They did in all the episodes but this one in particular was one of the best!!
Thank you so much for this. Brought a smile to my heart.

One of the Best theme songs Ever!! Funny show, loved watching it as young kid. Loved Johnny Fever!! Loni Anderson was actually very good on this show, the character suited her.
What a great show, episode, and time of life!!!

@Gary Rasberry Jr. ~ Which is why I love her apartment scenes. My dad used to sing that tune while walking through our family house and while driving us 'here to there'. I was named after the singer of my favorite version of this song, Julie London, which can be heard in the outro of a Mad Men episode...
Great TV back then. Loved this show!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was a kid...9 years old....not knowing the show was Hollywood. I knew it was a show... Family went to Cincinnati, I looked for the buildings. This is a great memory of mine.

I've been watching these WKRP videos lately and it didn't take long for me to realize that it didn't make any sense that this show only lasted 4 seasons. I did some research and was disappointed, but not surprised to learn that essentially the show was bungled to death by network weasels (as Letterman so aptly put it). They kept juggling the time slot, which made it much harder for the show to gain and that is what ended the show.
great episode😂😂😂😂😂!
I do not believe Jennifer marlow, makes face, would ever be alone anytime. She was and is a beautiful woman. All woman.

I don't care about Jesus lol but this x-mas felt all wrong to me...hardly any decorations or music...saw NO tv specials except rudolph and frosty at the end of november! lol It's not just a religious thing - the christmas spirit is the only time we're fucking nice to each other but man people were dbags this year. I actually got wished a merry xmas WAY more than previous 5 yrs so that was IRONIC... People blame it on all the 'brown' people coming in but if you check your facts a lot of them WOULD be celebrating it anyways, hell even the Jews will buy some trees lol Doesn't mean they believe in Jesus - it means we believe in EACH OTHER. That spirit is LONG GONE...cuz everyone;s to busy with their iphones. To hex with JC I just wanna feel christmas again...the right way.

While I hate this widesreen cut off version - at least it's up here for viewing. Mr. Carlson says it all, "we're family". Shows are best when they feel like family. Like how Al Bundy did everything he could to give his family x-mas (good ol dad - don't see that no more) or when his car was stolen and he had something 'important in the trunk' and everyone thought it was his hooters magazines but it was a picture (why it was in the TRUNK is beyond me lol) of the family. Or like on cheers - if worst came to be, Carla WOULD do something nice for Cliff... Everything is so STALE and FORCED nowadays because our innocence is gone. This show is from a time where it was there....god the 80's were great. I think that's why this show has been forgotten (in the mainstream) it's not a niche 80's show it's thought of as a 70's show. Plus the music rights keeping it off the air in it's complete form.

I agree with you. The pic in the trunk is not that weird because last summer,I cleaned out our storage unit and months later, I found legos, Easter baskets, Avon (mom's), etc that got stuck underneath newspapers and other shit in my trunk!
