When From Software first came out with Demon's Souls I immediately thought of this game and said to myself, "That's Wizards and Warriors!". It's crazy. That game was hard as hell, btw. Even for a 9 year old like me back then. When I think Knight in Shining armor I don't think Karate Kid 2 theme song. I think Wizards and Warriors.
Wow! I remember playing this game, I could never finish it that fast. 👍
This guy is an absolute monster!
Insane Run!
Good times, good memories.
Well done sir !
So in the first three levels, the knight has been to Hugh Hefner’s estate to rescue Lucinda (stripper name if ever I’ve heard one), saved Esmerelda from Quasimodo in Notre Dame and travelled to Middle Earth to rescue the most power elf this side of the undying lands? Fair play to him.
So fun and impressive. Woo!!
I remember the somehow catchy 'banger' when your character got down to three bars or lower of health. Every time I played and every time I heard it, I'd get REALLY nervous and thought 'Gotta find the meat!' :P
man you play all of my favs

but do a glitchless, the glitched version is a disgrace to the game. no castle :(
15 damn minutes?!?! I remember way back in the day the first time me and my cousins beat this it took us ALL DAMN NIGHT.
I liked this game as a kid, but I don't think I ever really understood it or got very far. I liked the way things moved and the sound and music. I think I was able to do a little more on the sequels that had different suits of armor.
Arcus is not a Cowboy, he is a Cowman.
Nice run should of been a 14:31 heard like 5 hooOOwaaaas in that. Thanks brother good content.
This game was one of my favorite on the nes. I glitch killed the spider in one hit once... no idea how.
I did not know of the amazing power of the boots of force
Awesome... I had no idea about the level glitches. But i wonder what the record is playing straight through....
I used to sing "you need meat" when I watched my brothers play this with low health.
Though I never owned this as a kid, I rented it a few times and was very fond of it. I was only able to make it past the second stage. I own it now, and have still never beat it. Might have to retry.
Funny how the last princess is named Candida, which is the name of a fungal yeast microorganism 😂😂
Thank goodness I still have the WR
now that is a stache!
Well played, oh Western One.
I always wondered why they had you enter your name at the end when the info couldn't be saved after removing the game.
15 mins lol i spent hours on this as a kid loved this game
From my previous comment a year ago, when I played this I had to scale the outside of the castle before the large area that require 200 or 250? gems.
I like how the last damsel shares her name with a yeast infection.
Imagine being in metal and walking through a pillar of fire
i need to try this speedrun
What did you do? this was for real? I played this game for almost most 30 years, and never knew about these glitches ..... 😓
Just curious, why don't you use the dagger of throwing to pick up gems more often? Doing so nets you two gems per each instead of the one you get by manually collecting it.
Beat it back in the days, not so fast :D and the way was different. There was an enemy growing after a few hits.

He used a glitch to skip the castle and the growing skeleton and the final boss.
14:47 That's the most mighty HOOWAH I've ever heard.
Funny how many people in comments specifically remember renting this game. When I rented it as a kid, it was absolutely amazing! Playing it today it is pretty strange to say the least.
