Hey this was really useful, thank you for posting! Agree with the comment from IndyMacDev earlier, I think that what causes all the issues to begin with is a corruption in Bluetooth. I was able to Reset the scale as per your instructions in the video, but when I tried to set it up, it failed at the Setup stage. I had to go to my iPhone's Bluetooth settings and remove "Body+ FA", by selecting "Forget Device". Afterwards, I proceeded with the installation and the Scale paired perfectly with the iPhone.

Thank you so much for this! I tried for ages to fix my Withings weight. All i needed was to delete the Old Bluetooth connection. God Damn it, was so pissed at this weight lol

I had to delete the scale from bluetooth on my phone. That was the trick for me. Worked first time after that.

I was having same issue. Had to go into wifi settings in the Withings app to reconfigure, then was able to reset.

still not working for me. It does all that you say and then says setup failed

In my scale there is two button and their instruction is to 'press the button'. 😂 Which obviously wouldn't work even if I would know which one to press or both....

The support from Withings didn’t do well for me. I’ve moved on to a new scale now. Still have the Withings, but it’s a spare scale now.

I keep getting the message Setup Failed. I really don't know what to do anymore and Whitings is also impossible to reach.

Cant factory resel smart body analyzer and dont sincro data

Mine did this fine, I got the factory reset check. Then it goes back to the set up page again and won't sync (or even show up) to my phone.Does anyone know how to get the damn thing to sync? I am ready to throw this thing out its so useless, thank god it was free!

Someone just added remove the Bluetooth connections you previously had established. Basically have your phone also forget the scale and that should give you a true fresh start.
